The past week or so, I've cut down my regular smokes by a LOT (from about 5-6 cigs a day to 0-1) with the help of my e-cig. I also notice that I have been coughing non-stop, but it's not just a dry cough, usually something comes up with it. Is this my lungs clearing up a little or is it because of the vaping? Will it go away? I usually do drink plenty of water and I do not know the % of PG/VG in my liquids. I usually have the majority of my cough fits at night as I'm lying in bed trying to fall asleep, and in the morning whenever I wake up or stir, the cough fits will keep me up for a while. I do not feel shortness of breath and I actually do feel like I can take deeper breaths and feel better but man the coughing is so annoying!!

And for the most part, most of the stuff I smoke taste kinda harsh.

Its normal .
I remember that when I quit after a week or two I rcoughing up lots and lots of green phlegm .
I mean quantities of the stuff. Every day.
I was worried as it didn't seem to fade away. In fact it lasted about 3 weeks.

Don't worry its normal. Its your lungs slowly getting rid of all the tar that had accumulated.

Drink lots of water and it will eventually go away.

I'm coughing up white/clear stuff, doesn't appear to be brown/green/yellow. Is that still tar or just a reaction to vaping maybe?

That's how it was for me too...I think its just the lungs healing. And if your pic is of you....I smoked the same brand. I was a parliament light smoker for 15 yrs...about 1.5-2 packs a day. The coughing has passed for me now though. It took a good 4-5 days for me...my cousin said it was about a week for her. So I'm sure everyone is a little different. It should definitely pass though.
