Hey guys been asking loads of questions 2nite. One more. Iv been vaping for nearly a year now. Got a few different mods istick 20 up to a sig 150 and loads in between. Been thinking bout getting something higher end at the beginning of next year. Apart from aesthetics, what is the difference between vaping on a Yihi SX mini m class and a cheaper device which is also gives 60 watts. Will there be a noticeable difference in vape quality at all? Apart from power, all my devices give me pretty much the same deal, only my rbas make a big difference. Apart from the tc aspect of course. Thanx

I'd also pass on the sx. The DNA 200's that are available for less money are rock solid. The efusion is about $179 most places and its a really nice mod.
The sx is a great mod but ...meh. There's the Reulauex(sp) that has amazing battery life for around $150 and the rx200 version for a little over $50.
Personally, I'd get a dna200 though. They're pretty amazing.

Ok cool. Yeah, I might have another look at the dna200. The problem for me is that weird battery it uses. I just got used to using my 18650s and id rather keep using them so I can chop and change if need be. I rinse the batteries so quick neway. hmmm, not much difference then. Now that ive got my vape down, the aesthetics do come into play some what. I just like using something that looks great. But really, why bother. I know you guys aren't vendors, but should I just get something not so expensive. Its only been a year (noob), maybe I wont be that impressed.

Not all DNA 200s use LiPo batteries, you can get one with 2 or even 3 18650 batteries.

Really alright, excuse me if im wrong. I reckon its the evolv chip that makes the mod a dna200. Vaporshark looks really good but its the only dna200 that looks great. That one uses lipos. That's a shame. Ok so in reality, no difference in the dna200 chips. I hear they're quite accurate, but dropping or raising 20 watts isn't that big of a deal to me. Thanks guys.

The SX is a really good mod although if getting one, you are better off with a dual battery one such as the Boxer or Whiteout SX.

Now the DNA 200 is excellent as well but if you do get one, i recommend the Reuleaux with triple 18650's although current models are experiencing a defect which is easy to fix or something with a bigger LiPo pack like the Mad Modder. A DNA 200 is a waste of money though if you aren't tech saavy and cant understand the eScribe software.

the Releaux DNA 200 is THE mod to own right now.... and honestly the Releaux x200 ( non DNA version ) can be found in the 40$ range... and it is simply an amazing vape for the money.

I had one of the M class... I did not realize it was so sought after ( neither did the guy who sold it to me for 40$ ) When my best friends Mod broke it was the first one I gave away. a great little mod... but compared to what is currently on the market you can get a LOT more for the price... or even way less.

A lot of these other mods arent nearly as good as the SX Mini. Most arent as accurate and almost none of them can buck & boost. Even with as good as the DNA 200 is. Its buck only unlike not only the SX350j but the DNA 40 as well. And unlike the SX, almost none of these other mods have a one year warranty.

And while I do like my Reuleaux DNA 200, there are some quirks which people are over looking. First problem is the ribbon position which is being move or pinched because it sits under the fire button. The only way its not going to become a potential brick is by pulling the faceplate off and either pulling the screen up from the glue and placing it under that or placing a shim so the ribbon cannot go there and let it just sit. Wismec won't address the problem unless the mod quits working which unfortunately probably isnt going to happen until after the 90 day warranty is up. These mods need a total recall.

The second issue is the wiring is too thin, preventing it from reaching its full accuracy at higher watts. Evolv has even stated they wish Wismec would beef up the wiring. Other people I know with multipe DNA 200 devices say the ramp up isnt as good on the Reuleaux either.

It is a good mod. Don't get me wrong. But it does have its quirks and a major problem which is very easy to address yourself. The problem is, most don't know about it and it might void your warranty should something else go wrong.

My SX M is my reward at home. No other mod comes close to the feel of the SX.

In terms of vape quality I honestly don't notice the difference between any currently generation mod at my settings.

The SX is a great mod. I'll never say a bad word about the mod. And a 200 dollar mod isn't a deal breaker to me if I want it bad enough.

I guess I look at things these days as we have 2 types of vape gear. 6 months ago it wasn't uncommon to have to spend 200 beans to get a full featured mod. Now 200 dollar mods are the play ground of innerweb vape collectors, of whom I am one. To just get your vape on and not smoke spending 200 these days is to laugh.

In terms of the lastest features the SX is actually abit behind, the M class anyway the ML seems to be better. My Evic Mini has a SS Mode which I have just started playing with. I'm not that big into TC and Ni isn't that great and Ti is awful but SS for sure has my attention.

TL/DR- if 200 beans is a hardship skip the SX. If 200 beans is childs play get the SX without regret.

I like my SX Mini a lot. I probably wouldn't buy another one considering the new market offerings, unless they came down a lot in price or I could find a good used one cheap. Don't get me wrong, it's a super nice piece of gear. But I don't think it's worth a Franklin more than a Sig 75TC.
