Whatever floats ya boat B. I just think some companies are juicing some of you for all you got. It seems with all the companies releasing products so fast there will be something just as good for a lot less. I'm just sharing my opinion.
I see what you are saying, but I see it like this. You can drop 50g on a Mercedes-Benz or 15g on a Ford. Both will get you point A to point B it just depends on how you want to get there.

A lot of people have little understanding of what goes into a really well made mod and an inexpensive mod.
Having owned both, and STILL using booth I can easily see the differences.

I ran eVics for 2 years against the grit from Provari enthusiast.
I never argued the eVic was just as good - Hell no, it simply got the job done, did what I needed and did not break on me. In no way could it stand up to the Quality of build and performance of the Provari.

There is no shame in choosing middle of the road, but do so honestly. There is no cheap mod TC that has the build quality or feature set of the SX Mini. Yes, there are a few high end Mods that compete or are preferable and not so oddly most use the Same Chip.

* I am on my 18-20th Fill on the same 4.5ml Orchid without rebuilding, changing a wick or having any change in performance.
I Say you buy what fits you, but the SX Mini is fantastic.............and upgradeable. :D

I'm thinking of purchasing an SX Mini, but would like to have some info on other mods that use the same chip. Can you name a couple others? Thanks! :)

Most of them are in the high-end market, which means they are expensive, hard to get, or likely both. Svapiamo, Signature Mods, Estoque, Carlos Creation's Alpha Mods, Chi Box, Pocket Box, Wapari, etc. The only sx350j mods that I know of offhand that are affordable and readily available are the SX Mini and the Boxer (dual 18650).

Oh wow, thanks for naming all these! And yes, I do realize that they're high end and very pricey, but I'd like to go ahead and look them up anyway:)

Thanks again!!

Don't go chasing waterfalls. Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to. I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all. But I think you're moving too fast. :)

LOL! I hear ya!

upcoming mods:

vaporflask with the sx350J chip
cloudmaker sx with the sx350J chip

besides the small form factor (some people prefer smaller mods)... i would wait...

I definitely prefer something smaller. I have small hands and mods like the ipv3 Li that I have are way too big and awkward for my liking. Will the vaporflask and the cloudmaker both be dual 18650?

Some times it is cool to drool :D
Even if one does not buy, window shopping can be fun.

Sure can! Though I'd probably end up buying one anyway...I was just looking up a few and some of those are so sick!:hubba:

I've had mine for a couple days now and I've been impressed with it in both wattage and tc mode. It has so many options for the user to really fine tune their vape preference. I went from an ipv2 and Atlantis v1 setup, to the m class with a herakles and ni200 coils. At first I thought I would have a hard time trying to get it, but once you have someone who knows what they're talking about explain the device amd settings, it really is worth every penny when you find that sweet spot. Plus you could upgrade it instead of going out and buying a new device each time something comes out. I know a lot of people complain about the battery cover being hard, but for me its pretty easy and i don't use a coin. Just use my thumb to get it finger tight and im good to go. The only 2 complaints I have is it not being a dual 18650 because temp control consumes my battery like crazy, and it not having a stealth mode option. All the other cons they pretty much fixed in their update with the tilt sensor, etc. all in all, the quality and versatility of this device is really worth the money. Trust me, i was skeptical too about spending that much, but you just gotta say screw it and go for it.

For the upgrades, is it true that you can upgrade it to 75 watts in Power mode still only using one 18650? Not too sure if I am understanding the upgrading options (and I am NOT using that extender tube!) I don't even know if I care so much becasue I have checked this mod at 60 watts in PowerFU+ against a couple others (with the same res, the same tank with the same juice) at or even higher (up to 90 watts), and this still hits harder. It's really weird how that mode kicks in so fast with little to no ramp! I mean, others that go higher are fine once they get warmed up, but I love being able to pick up my mod from a cold state and get an intense hit in under 2 seconds!

I hear you, in powerful mode, 40 watts seems like 80....no need to update software here either.

Instantaneous blast in powerful mode....!

I don't own 30+ mods, but what I do own I haven't touched since receiving my SX...if anyone is in the market for a nice mech mod let me know.

One of the first things I did was throughly clean the threads on both the cap and tube, they were pretty dirty and it helped quite a bit.
