Just received the SX Mini M from VeriTube. They're free shipping was very fast 2 days to my door from when I got a shipping notice. For me they are a top class vender. I ordered the grey/silver (grey body/silver face).
After opening the package, I promptly put a VTC4 battery in it and the display lit up showing SX Mini and then SX350. I turned the unit on (5 quick clicks on the fire button) and the same previous message showed on the display.
I placed my Marquis dripper on the unit wound with 28ga NI 200 12 wraps using the largest diameter post which was supplied with the Marquis. My ohm meter read 0.18 ohms. I'm using KGD organic cotton and NLV Gold 24mg eliquid. Once the atomizer was on the unit I pressed the up/down buttons simultaneously and the SX Mini displayed "set ohms 0.175". I pressed the fire button quickly 5 times to get to the main men and then went to the set temperature menu and set it to 318F (note the unit arrives in C and I changed to F). Then I went to power menu and changed to Joules and I set to 14.0. Now I'm tasting notes in the eliquid I never tasted before. So far no quirky screen flashes or anything like that. Time will tell but so far I'm really enjoying the unit. Previously in the day I was vaping the same eliquid in the same atomizer using a SX Mini 350S and I'm enjoying the M class taste more.
The M class unit is more refined than the S. The face edges have been smoothed and the M class body has a taper in it that the S doesn't.
This is my first TC mod and I'm loving it so far (had it for about 1hr)lol.
I do vape at lower temperature and power than most people do ( I think), mainly because of the high nicotine content that I vape.
I think, so far, the unit for me anyway is worth the $199.99.
