thanx for the compliment on the mini. i've been thinking of building a new box for it and moving the button to above the screen. will post pix when i finish.. if ever. summer is so busy with other stuff.

I only see one button, are you using the gravity sensor, tilting to change wattage?

How well does that work?

I'm trying to plan out my build and can't decide if I want to add (+) & (-) buttons.

i really like the one button operation. gravity sensor works great for me. id just tape up the extra + - button wires incase u change your mind down the road.

it does just sit there. when I screw the door on, I put a little piece of foam next to the screen.

Cool. Thanks. Last question, did you have to tap the screw holes, or can you just drill a smaller hole and screw them in? I think I know, but just making sure.

Actually, can you even tap acrylic?

ha! you ask the best questions i drill the hole ever so slightly smaller than the screw im gonna use.. then when installing the screw i use a propane torch and heat the screw up so that it melts the hole a little, as i thread it in. get it snug but do not tighten while the screw is warm. you should practice this a few times before you try it on the actual box u are gonna use. screw should be hot to touch but far from glowing hot.
