Only issue is the screen opening is hand filed and the ohm reading is cut off.
Not all lipos are like that. Plenty of them are rated at .5c or 1c. I've been told that the rule of thumb should be 10c for our purposes.
In the above batteries they are said to be 25c at 2600mah. That translates to 65amps.
I'm looking in to making a SX350 based mod and will eventually use 2 or 3 1200mah 15c lipos in parallel. That should let me push 75 amps (with 2), even though it's far more than can be pushed with that chip.

Cheaper? Yes.
Cheap? No.
For $250 I'm sure as hell not going to be even remotely satisfied with jagged hand cuts for a window that doesn't even fit the screen correctly.
That's a MOD you give to a buddy or your girlfriend, not something you try and sell for two and a half bills.
I'm sure it works well enough, and I don't mean to disparage the guy or his efforts, but that particular build for that kind of money is a joke.

Vape .5ohm dual coil set-up, for a GOOD part of the day, without issue. This guys Mods are very nice. Yes they are pricey. They are worth what you are willing to pay. I don't begrudge anyone profiting off of their talents.

I don't either. But notice that his prices are falling. He started at $300, and now they are less. The market is speaking, the invisible hand softly nudging buyers away.
It's probably an excellent MOD. I don't doubt that he knows what he's doing. But still, 300 bones for a $10 hobby box, a chip, a $4 510 connector, a $7 switch, and a couple of batteries is a bit much. I looked at his mini version briefly before deciding $300 was just way too much for what it is.
I'm looking at perhaps building a very similar box and selling them at some point. I'm thinking that $150- $175 or so would sell everything he could possibly put together and fill the piggy bank with a lot more cash than selling a small handful at $300. I'd have bought two, one large and one mini, if he sold them for what I consider a reasonable price for a Hammond box MOD.
But if he can sell them for $300 more power to him and I hope his customers are very happy with their purchases.

I wouldn't make that assumption.
It's the SX300 chip, and as far as I know, only the SX350 is upgradeable via software flash.
Definitely do the research. I am seeing Seven-30's listed with the sx300 and the sx350. So not sure which is true.
Also not sure how I feel about the two slots that let the battery color show through. If you use sony vtc4/5 I hope you like green lines
