I have found that in many cases, my carts seem to have better wicking performance when I initially fill them using a syringe with a nice long needle. Topping off the carts with a dropper later on is fine, but that intitial fill seems to be fairly important if you want good wicking action from your cart. I got an EXCELLENT 3cc syringe with long needle and safety cover at JOHNSON CREEK SMOKE juice in Wisconsin. You can find much better deals on a syringe, but just TRY to get one with a long needle that works as well as this one for cart filling....very unlikely (I looked all over eBay and found NONE as good). They are the only U.S. Manufacturer of smoke juice that I know of. Please note that JC juices do not maintian great flavor when atomized at too high a temperature. These juices taste best when used with a relatively COOLER running atomizer, such as the VX2 series of ecigs (LiteCigUSA, always very FAST shipping from Shawn). I have tried all 10 flavors of the JC high purity smoke juices and I have rated them as follows:

Johnson Creek flavors (reduced PG) rated on 5 scale:

Tennessee Cured = 4.9

Chocolate truffle = 4.8

French vanilla = 4.7

Espresso = 4.7

Black Cherry = 4.6

Summer peach = 4.6

Simply strawberry = 4.5

J.C. Original = 4.4

Mint chocolate = 4.3 (TOO MUCH MINT!)

Arctic menthol = 3.5 (Don’t like menthol AT ALL)

If you also want, take a look at my reviews. Check my signiture for the link. I reviewed the JC Arctic Mint, and Tennessee Cured.

I'm vaping on some of the LATEST recipe of the J.C. Tennessee Cured right now....with my DSE601 EPIPE....and I LOVE IT! I'm actually vaping the reduced PG, medium strength. I find the J.C. juices to have very weak flavor in my Mini Pipes...but in my DSE601 it's quite nice. What this juice lacks in vapor production & throat hit is made up for in the flavor department! When I'm REPEATEDLY power-hauling (for long bouts) on my DSE601 EPIPE, I don't need massive vapor...especially if the flavor is nice.

My suggestion to you when you do reviews is this; Don't just take some new juice with a freshly charged battery and attempt judge it within your first few moments of vaping....there are TOO MANY OTHER VAPING VARIABLES to consider. Try vaping it at various levels of battery charge. Your test PV device may be running the atty pretty darn hot. Try vaping it for awhile...until the battery charge state is somewhat reduced. Also, try it in various PV devices...you might be surprized. When I try a new juice, I vape it for AWHILE...WITHOUT directing all my undevided attention to it. I vape it for awhile...while directing my attention to other things I'm doing...and when the battery discharges just a little....WHAM...the flavor suddenly surfaces...this is how it happened with the J.C. Tennessee Cured using my DSE601 EPIPE. It has a very smooth tobacco flavor with a nice accent of caramel. The J.C. Chocolate Truffle is also nice, but DEFINITELY NOT with a hot running atty. I have also noted that a well "broken-in" atty gives much better flavor than a brand new atty...in SOME PV devices.

So to summarize, reviews have to be carefully done; while considering all these variables. It's not something that can be accurately done within just a few minutes..... always using a brand new atty and a freshly charged battery. Those limited "test" conditions are not going to produce the best flavor with ALL vaping juices. It may also be that J.C. is a bit stingy on the flavoring content, so the flavor is best with a cooler running atty (or slightly discharged battery).

BTW: I just SWAPPED my DSE601 battery for a freshly charged one, and the flavor of the Tennessee Cured has diminished to nearly non-existent...so VOLTAGE to the atty is definitely a variable to consider. I also REMOVED the cart and dripped it generously...and the flavor came back a lot stronger.
