No nail polish in the house so I just put clear (scotch invisible type) tape over mine. The syringe will probably wear out before I need to replace the tape. I don't wash the outside of the syringe. Just suck up hot water with it 3 times before disassembling at the end of a mixing session. I have different syringes for different things--flavors, nicotine, PG/VG so no cross contamination issues and I only mix for myself so no critics of my method.

I recently started to use a little paring knife and carved shallow indentations into the syringe. Seems like a pain, but I did them while watching tv. However, do it before the markings wear off.

No matter how hardy a paint or polish may be, some can rub or peel off.

Only insert needle tip, keep flavorings off syringe and never put them in a glass to soak...clean separately

I mixed a batch of nine different flavors today. After each flavor I wash out the syringe with hot water and that's when the letters start to come off. I just need to buy a gaggle of syringes.
