syringe refilling

I don't mix yet but I wanted the low-waste metering characteristics of a syringe for filling and combining pre-mixed juice. I purchased a syringe from a reputable DIY equipment supplier, but the graduation markings washed off during cleanup. Can anyone vouch for the durability of the markings on any of the brands available online?

I saw one person mention they fill them from the bottom using a syringe, which seems to alleviate the need for spinning. Most people in this thread seemed to indicate they filled from the top. Is there any disadvantage to filling from the bottom with a syringe? One less step does sound kinda nice...

I stick the syringe in to the side, all the way to the bottom and refill till I see the juice coming through. I don't spin. I don't know of any disadvantages to this method and it is quick and easy.

Well, I purchased mine from DIY FlavorShack and I have used the same syringe for 3 months and the markings are still like new, if that helps at all... Granted, I just rinse it out with hot water, but I'm not a germaphobe, and I haven't had any issues with it so far.

I use the same method - spinning seems kinda redundant to me, not to mention a huge waste of time. I could probably fit more juice in by spinning, seeing as how I always measure it out at 1ml and some of the carts don't immediately hold a full ml (especially after 20 or so refills), but I am not exactly .... about it, either. On the other hand, it's rare I have to prime my carts 3-5 times to try and get the extra juice burned down using this method. Once the juice starts to come out the top, I stop. Overall, it's less of a headache for me, and I will never go back to the 'drip and spin and prime method', but to each their own... ;)
