I just moved from a cigalike to a Go-Go, filled the Go-carts (cartos) Fri with the drip method and remembered my sis left 30-40 syringes at my house for her insulin injections, would be much easier for me with these, especially because I'll know the amount (the syringes are 1 CC, which I googled and found at is 1 ml, lol). I've never used these before, but thought you stuck the needle in the juice and were able to pull the top part up and the juice would fill up, but I couldn't get it to draw any juice (tried several ways). Are these type syringes (for insulin) not able to draw the thicker E-juice? If so, what kind do I need? Also, FYI-I'm not taking medical supplies from my sis that she needs, she now used pre filled syringes.

Yes, diabetes needles are far too fine to draw up the liquid. However you can use a larger-gauge needle on the same syringe (I think). I have syringes available from a woodworking catalog that are used to inject glue into joints, and these are perfect. Sorry, I can't tell you the gauge of the needles but they are about as big around as paperclip wire. You may be able to find syringes and needles at a feed store if you live in an agricultural area.

Thx all, I'll find some 18 ga and dispose of these.

Here is a Gauge Chart for Syringe Needles.

url

As the Gauge Number gets Smaller, the Inside Diameter get Bigger.
(The Color on the Left of the Chart Doesn't Necessarily Mean anything)

18 or 20ga should work for most e-Liquids.

BTW - Can you unscrew the Needle from your Syringes? Because if you can, they might be Luer-Lock type. If so, you just need to buy 18 or 20 Gauge Luer-Lock Blunt Needles and you can still use your Old Syringe Bodies.

yea syringes are a great helper once you find the correct needle!
oftenly they look dangerous to people around me, like ima drug addict ;/ oh please..

You ought to try giving yourself a shot of insulin in a parking lot while vaping with a big tank. Lucky for me the officer was understanding!

I get my syringes and needles from my local drug store pharmacy for $0.25 each. I get the biggest syringe, usually 5ml, and the largest diameter needle they have, whatever that is. Then I use a fine grit grinding wheel on my Dremel tool to grind the point off.

+2 about putting clear tape over the printing on the syringe to keep the writing from wearing off.
