I had a similar issue with a njoy starter kit I bought for lady... i left the unit on the charger for three hours and tada! ... it finally registered/reset or whatever and now works fine.
I tendto stay away from Named brand an stick stricty to generic model number units IE: 510, 901 ETC ... hope this helps

how long will these 2 last you, i see it only comes with 2 batts. and 2 carts. if you walk out the door with both on you how long till they both run out of juice or die?

I started with Blu and 1 month later ordered the 520 from wordupecigs. It's a mega 510. I couldn't wait so Jeffery told me to run down the batteries while I waited for my pcc to charge, 10 hours first time on pcc. I went all evening and was still using the factory charge on second when the first battery was fully charged up. I'm averaging about 12-15 hours on a full charge each depending on what I'm doing. Takes about 1 1/2 hours to fully charge each battery and I always have my spare ready and waiting. Get a manual so you can control better and the battery life is great. I use VG and I am delighted. Analog free for 6 weeks. I also got fast shipping, free, and yesterday ordered 6 juices which shipped today. Good luck, for my money the 510 mega is perfect. The pcc took 10 hours to charge the first time, was done sooner but Jeffery said to go 10 so I did and it works like a dream.

how is the throught hit on the 510 mega, i see a 510 mega kit (no box) for like $32
