Do they offer the same warranty?

Sometimes I don't mind spending a few dollars more because of the good C.S.

If everything's the same, and they're both registered suppliers, I'd go with the cheaper one, but I'm cheap.

Liberty Flight has a T-Rex for a pretty good price. They must sell a lot of starter kits so they're usually cheaper for that. I can usually find accessories a bit cheaper some place else.

I am also thrifty. That's why I own the Riva 510 from Liberty-Flights. The kits they have in stock are 3.7v (because they are new stock from the correct Riva manufacturer) and with the $20 off the 650mah Lite Bundle is under $30 for 2 Rivas.

I also vape plastic box mods ($20 for 3.7v, $30-40 for 3.7v bottom feeder, and good evercool VV can be found for $55)

BTW - some guy recently had trouble with T-Rex's falling apart at the light ring. So wherever you buy, buy somewhere with a warranty. I can't find his thread but here is an older one:

Riva 510 KITS from Liberty-Flights.com and their loose Riva 510 SE batteries are definitely 3.7v. You would have to ask them about any other loose batteries (they could be older stock which is not 3.7v). 3.7v is about 4v fresh off the charger, 3.7v plateau, drops off near the end of charge. These will vape any particular carto a bit hotter than EGO does. LF had some new black SE kits with 3-click enable/disable (nice for pocketing)

Ego is around a more steady 3.4v. The Ego-T batteries have a 5-click enable/disable (handy for pocketing). But I think about 50% of people who try tanks don't like them (leaking, lack of flavors, your flavors are still mixed in an atomizer, trouble keeping the atomizers clean etc). I only recommend Joye (or Janty) brand for Ego - best way to avoid crappy clones.

Both use cartomizers equally well. Riva is a bit more powerful in voltage, Ego is a bit more steady in voltage. You can always use different ohms cartos to get the heat you want. I like to use standard resistance cartos because I move them between a slim 510 (can only use standard resistance) and the Riva (gives me more heat and vapor out of the carto).

Boge are the most popular cartos for 510 threaded devices. Some kind of Ego Mega Dual Coils are also very popular, but use your charge up twice as fast and can put too much strain on some batteries. Many use them, some damage their batteries.

Thanks dormouse! you cleared up alot. I may just go with a Riva 510 and Boge cart. When I get it I'll let you know how it goes.

That's a good choice. I recommended the T-Rex to someone because it came with cartos and not carts and the battery is a bit bigger. I don't have a T-Rex, but have a Joye ego, Riva ego and a no-name ego battery. Maybe I don't pick up on this the way others do but I don't notice a difference between the Joye and Riva as far as performance. But I'll defer to the people that know about voltages and things because I do not. I get a great vape with both if that's any help. And the boge 2.0 cartos are excellent.
