T-rex help?

Not sure if this is the right forum. I am a total newb

I got a Volt about 2 weeks ago, and I like it, BUT, none of the eliquids(even triple strength) taste like anything to me

So, I saw a deal on a T-rex kit($17 shipped) and thought I would try it to see if I would get better flavor

well.....I like the act of vaping on it- easy draw compared to the Volt, BUT, it has this godawful taste in it. I went in my garage and smelled lawn fertilizer and that is what it tastes like

This is my 1st time using atty/carts(volt has cartos). These carts were wet so I assume they had some liquid in it. Liquid YUCK. I tried adding in some of my own liquid and still taste the yuck and can't taste the pineapple liquid I put in. In fact, I get more flavor from my Volt(which has next to nothing)

Anyhow, there were not any instructions with this. Was I supposed to do "something" to clean this up to get rid of the taste? I suppose its possible that is supposed to be tobacco flavor(blah, I hope not)

are these T-rex the same as an Ego? In case I buy replacement parts?

hey first i never used carts...and i hear those pre filled cart by themselves are nasty...u need to buy your self some cartomizers and u should be fine.......c.c.v has a nice sale 15 for 20.00 try getting the low resistance or resurrectors.

what fitting do I look for? It took me a week to figure out that my Volt was a KR808 and I could buy stuff for that

this T-rex is a 650 mah. so, is there a certain resistance carto I need?

your looking for anything 510 threaded..and u will need to find ur sweet spots since just like taste ohms is subjective...only thing i can tell u the lower the ohm the warmer the vape.

these batteries are ego/style batteries like ur trex..actually i think on of them is a t-rex u can fit almost everything on them.

Excellent advice - I have a t-rex coming and emailed to ask them questions, heard back in about 10 minutes and now have some resurrectors on the way. I didn't realize I could get cartos for it, thought I'd just have to get used to attys. Yay!

When I asked the folks at Crystal Clear Vaping, they told me to go for the Resurrectors for my 900 mAh T-Rex. I sent an email from the site and heard back within a few minutes - I'd do that for your 650 and see what they say. I was looking at the dual coils based on the reviews about incredible vapor production, but the rep advised that the T-Rex likes a little higher resistance. Time will tell, but I was pretty impressed with their quick response.
