Have been using the T2 for more than 2 months... I have kind of dumped two coils so far... one is a short wick 1.8 ohms head which is the one that came on the original tank, it still fires strong (coil is ok) but it tastes burnt (the wicks) and the 2nd coil died in a very short time like 5 days, the issue with the 2nd is weak vapor and flavor, the wicks seem like new, I guess this was a defective coil or maybe it was my bad because I dry burnt them and apparently this messes the wicks and the coils, the third head has been working for almost 3 weeks and still working great...

The rinse and boil with water method works good on these, rinse them in alcohol for a day is still better since it almost retires all the gunk from the coil... dry burn is not an option for me anymore, a burnt wick is very dangerous and makes me cough to death and it seems that is the result of dry burning.

I still keeping the heads for rebuild... the T2s are inmortal as long as you don't break the tank :)

I know this is the most used method for cleaning and also is something that I used for long time with my old stardust.

The purpose of dry burn is to get all the gunk off the coil, if this can be achieved using vodka or any other rinse method I would suggest to use this instead... The thing is that there is a myth that silica wicks never get burnt but that doesn't explain why my old stardust and one of the T2 heads tastes funky and made me cough to death, I won't concern about killing the coil when dry burning as long as I have replacements but the burnt taste is dangerous from my experience and this can be avoided by not letting the wick dries.

If you have had luck when dry burn then go ahead and use it but IMHO be careful with the burnt taste.

I never get a burnt taste with my liquids in these. Mine are on the thin side I guess. I personally don't think a little dry burning hurts it too much. These coils are made to get repeatedly hot.

I use 2 flavors, each gets its own T2. I like things simple. I just ordered a 5 pack of T2's for $18.99 shipped. Great price!

Nowadays I have 3: A mini Vivi, a T2 and a T3. I'm comparing them, and usually rotate. The Vivi is out of the question, I'm mostly using it until heads burn out. But I'm liking the T3 more than the T2, mostly because of the drier vape.
