Had my T2 about three weeks.

vaping with it almost non-stop for three weeks. Today it quit firing. I took it apart to clean hoping that would help, changed batts etc.

Was waiting for my next order to get extra heads.Stupid me.

Any idea how long the heads should last?
Anyone have experience with them failing?
Any other ideas?

3 weeks is a long time for one of those heads. Consider yourself lucky. Im usually replacing them at every 10-14 days or so. Also depends on what voltage your using. I use the LR 1.8ohm @ 4.2v which I feel is its sweet spot. If your running it on a normal ego your milage will probably be longer on them because its only 3.3v.

Too many variables on head life. Just like any atomizer or cartomizer, you will hear reports of immediate death, all the way up to 6 months! I have a habit of cleaning mine after every tank of juice; doesn't matter much if the head dies, because they're cheap, especially when you compare it to the cost of the stinkies. I'd say if you got 3 weeks out of an under 2 buck piece of equipment, YOU WIN ! ! ! ! Wish I could hand you one through the system, but they haven't implemented the instant exchange yet. Grab yourself a 5-pack from a supplier such as ivape at first opportunity.

I'm still in love with the Kanger T2's I got from iVape. Having a lot of success with them. It is definitely a good idea to clean these before they start losing their vape. I've been simply removing the silicon/rubber parts, washing under hot water until the wicks are a bright white, and then letting them dry overnight, only putting them back together once they're dry.

I have developed a problem with one of my tanks, though, and not sure if it's the coil or the tank body, but I'm getting leakage at random times from the vent holes and down between the battery and the tank. I've checked, and my coil is on tight, and I can't see any visible signs of a crack or anything in the body of the tank. Strange. After I clean up the leakage and the battery and tank portions, it vapes fine for a while.

Anybody else have this problem? This tank has been nothing but good to me for a while now, so just curious.

It's all good. Got some Vapmail today. A little juice, a couple of Kanger 510 clearos to try and...Three new T2's and a five pack of heads and two replacement tips. Lesson learned, not giving away the spares this time. I am getting to like the T2 so much I don't want to vape anything else.

CDnerds - Yes, vaping on a 650Mah EGo C batt. Regular resistance on the T2 loads of vapor. A little smoother than my VIVI Nova. Just read a review on a suppliers site somewhere that they generally last about two weeks.
SCaelwiz - I do feel like I've won. 7 months and one day smoke free today. Using the savings to pay for the increases in everything else.
Cuando - Had that problem some . Mostly with an overfill situation and right before the head went. Acted almost like it was flooding some. I think cleaning it out good with hot water and letting it get dry before use helped me extend the life a little. I also blow out the center tube once or twice a day.

Did I say I really like the T2?

I really like them, too. I think that this leaky one could perhaps be cracked at the base somewhere, and when I screw it down tight like I have been it opens that crack up a bit. Have been putting it on just snug versus tight like I was and haven't had a leak since. I tend to screw them on pretty tight, but will lay off a bit and see how that works.

Where are you guys getting your coils from? I have a bunch, still, but would like another 10 or so. iVape is where I got mine, but they are currently out of stock.

I use Tim a lot. Great service and he is close to home so I get orders in about 36 hours.
5pc coil for eGo CC Clearomizer

Has current inventory on low and regular but not too much. 4-5 5 packs of each.

Edit- Tim is The DigitalCig by the way.

It kills me when I see places charge like $2.95 for those T2 heads. Just ridiculous.

I was about to say I've seen the five packs of those T2 heads for like around $6!

Though 99 Cents is a .....en deal; honestly.

And big thing with these heads is to keep them clean. I rarely ever do more than two tank fulls through one of the heads and I've been using all five of my, well four since one of the T2s came DOA - but not the head(!), Five pack of Kanger T2s for the past three weeks.

What are you using with the T2s? What type of Battery? I've using an eGo 900.

I do have issues with Dry hitting in the morning when I pick up the eGo for the first time. I don't like it and it's one of my pet-peeves when it comes to the Kangers but I'm just resolved to tilting the eCig over 90 degrees to get it working right.

Be careful with the tips too, if you need to replace them don't spend more than 95 cents to replace them. When I ordered my Five Pack the vendor sent me Five extra tips for free since these tips are famous for separating the plastic tip from the metal threads. I got my pack with the 1.8ohm heads and want to take up the resistance to 2.4ohms or so just to cool it down a whee-bit.

I've only SEEN the Heads advertised for sale.

The ones I'm using at the moment came with the pack of five I purchased some weeks back.

When advertised for sale I either see them unpackaged, as I'm certain you have too, sitting as a single unit or in a blister pack of five Heads. Though I think I may be ordering about ten of those 'Longer' Wick Heads at about 2.1ohms.

As for who is the knock-off I dunno. I really want to see if the longer ones are better at wicking than the OEM jobs.

I have the T2 coming and I ordered the short wicks with the cup under them.
Most of the reviewers say that they like the latest revision with the long wicks.

I'm just wondering as I haven't seen anyone complain about these clearos until recently and that got me looking into the changeable coils. Knowing knock-offs hit the market soon after a device is released and how everyone likes a bargain. I was wondering if these knock-off heads are part of the issue.
Most of the video reviews show the foil blister pack heads, but I have seen some sites selling the heads in a individual bubble pack for around $1 each.
I'm not saying these are bad heads, but it might be something to ask about when someone has issues when it comes to changeable coil clearos in general.
It would be nice if the manufacturer branded the packaging of the heads. They may already do that, I dunno, but mine will be here in a day or two.

Now I'm interested in which heads are OEM.
I've been searching and I haven't come across any pics of the long wicks in a blister pack. That doesn't mean they don't, I just haven't found any pics. So maybe the short wicks are in blister packs and the later revised long wicks are in bubble packs?
Here are some pics that I have found.

Another Vendors pic...

These may all be OEM, I'm not sure, but it would be nice to know. Especially down the road when/if the knock-offs start popping up.

I just bought a device where the pic on their website was OEM, but the price was to good to be true.
After receiving the device, it was the knock-off...I'm not crazy about those type of vendors.

Thanks for the update Cuando. It may be that the blister pack of short wicks may just be new 'old' stock?....dunno for sure.
Some vendors input would be nice also :)
