T3 and Boge

Been 3 weeks since started vaping with Ego Twist and Kanger T3. I got kit, 2 of each, from MyVaporStore and was switching between them when after several days, I refilled one and it would not work.

Bought a 3rd T3 from Cignot Ive since been switching with the one working T3 I already had. Ive re-tried the other T3 but still wont work. Any thoughts on why after just a few days a T3 would just stop working or anything I should try? Hoping its still salvagable since I only got a few days use from it

Also bought 510 bogue 5pk and tried for the first time tonight with a Belgium Waffle juice I really like and have in my T3 in order to do a comparison and geez ithe boge is so terrible, wondering if I did something wrong.

Just pushing Twist button theres an unpleasant burnt smell at boge opening and inhaling taste as bad as scent smelled. Theres no hint of any flavor except burnt plastict. Also gives me a temporary head rush. Same juice in T3 is perfection. Any ideas why this might be and what would be normal differences in experience juice in T3 vs Boge?

The carto was not completely filled. That's what causes the bad taste and burning smell. Once that happens the carto is shot.

If that's a standard size carto it will take almost 1ml of juice to fill it completely. The easiest way is to take the condom (plastic sleeve that comes on the end and fill it about 1/2 way. Slowly put the threaded end of the carto into the juice filled condom. Don't do it fast or it will just come up the air hole. If some does just let it soak down into the carto. Once that's all absorbed put some more in the condom and repeat. Once that's all or mostly absorbed into the carto it should be filled. Then just lightly blow through the carto and catch the excess with a paper towel and it should be good to go. Hope that helps.

It's very likely that you didn't allow enough time for the T3 and the Boge cartomizer to wick (saturate with juice) sufficiently. The T3 is salvageable by swapping in a new coil that you may have to order. As for the Boge, toss it since it's destroyed. Make sure to let the T3/Boge soak up the juice for at least 5-10 minutes before you attempt to use them when new.

Just a possibility you are not getting a good 510 connection on your twist with that kanger t3. you could try using a nail or a ice pick to try to pull your post up on the battery. Either that or your coil is fried on the t3. They are bottom coils and are replaceable. Good luck!!

I agree that you Boge carto is not filled properly. Do you know how to fill cartos?

As for your T3, could you please explain what you mean by 'not working'? Is it not firing?

Please do not pull the post on the battery--it may sever the wires and kill the battery. If you need to adjust the post, adjust the post on the T3--first.

I have like 10 T3 bottoms and I have never had to pull the post down on any of them. I think we just have a case of manufacturing error, he just got a dud. Doo Doo Occurs....

Yea, the cardo description seems like a bad fill, not enough juice....

I agree. I'm not even sure what OP means by "not working." It may be a contact issue, but we're just speculating at this point.

I believe that term "not firing" would be correct - By not working, I mean the T3 stopped responding when used with the Twist - I inhale and get no vapor, no hit, nothing, unlike it had first few days.

I tried to of the boges last night, both from videos. Filled one condom style and one top drip - it was top drip that was burnt. Noticed in video he said when it gets a burnt taste to refill - so is my burnt one probably really garbage?

Initially found my juice bottles surprisingly resistant to squeezing in order to drip so first tried cutting tip for bigger opening but still hard so popped the top which the liquid drips out of the bottle off it and with bottles wider neck opening, poured juice down side of T3 in seconds, crazy easy, quick, done!
Even watching the video folks who know how to fill boges, cant understand why anyone would choose to go thru all that when you can just pour or even drip into a clearomizer and be done with it. Am I spoiled starting with the clearomizer? Realize it probably doesn't seem like all that much but also seems like the easiest process (clearomizer) being done with something that requires a bunch more steps, time, mess and potential for things not to go correctly.

Hi Sun and thanks for clarification. Do you own a multimeter, by any chance? The best way to check if your atty is OK is to measure its resistance. I do it all the time with all my atties, just to be sure.

If you don't own a multimeter, please check if your connections (threads and center posts on your battery, the base of the T3 and the charger) are clean and free of any caramelized, burnt juice. If they are dirty, clean them carefully using a Q-tip or an old, soft toothbrush dipped in 91% ISO alcohol. Screw your T3 into the battery and see if it fire, but do not overtighten--overtightening can dislocate the center pin and lead to malfunction--it has to just make contact, no more.

If that doesn't help, it's time to, possibly, adjust the center pin.

Wiggle the center post in the T3 base and in the battery to raise it a bit.

The litle flat circle is your center post. Use a pair of tweezers, paper clip, or safety pin, or what have you. Wiggle it a little, from all sides, and raise it up a hair. Just a hair--do it very, very gingerly. If you pull on it too hard, you may sever the wires inside and kill your battery.

If that doesn't work--get a replacement coil (I like the 2.2Ω ones).

And if you do have a multimeter, check the old coil. I really can't believe that two coils would just die like that.
