Just got my CVI and couldn't wait to try it. First key learning for the T3. If you over tighten the T3 you will unscrew the tank from the base when you try to take the T3 off. So, when attaching the T3, tighten just enough until you feel the friction. I had one T3 that bottomed out which required me to raise the battery post on the T3 so it would make contact. In doing so, the head remained in the CVI when I tried to take it off. So I carefully unscrewed the tank, keeping it horizontal, with a pipe cleaner inserted in the air tube. Once the tank was removed, I had to separate the air tube from the base and using the flat lever of a fingernail clipper as a screw driver, unscrewed the base.

Bottom line. Until you are used to the T3 on a CVI, always proceed with caution while removing the T3. Never over tighten the T3 on to the CVI, just enough until you feel the friction.

Until the threads are broken in, or you feel resistance, unscrew tank with MOD upside down...eVic is the exact same way..
