Just, finally, finished my first successful rebuild of a Kanger T3 atty head!! Thought it was never going to happen since this was, like, try 12 or something like that... Trick was 3mm wick with 32ga wire and a lot of patience with my fumble fingers and old-age nerves... Anyway, it's done and it works! Now to try the next one to see if this one was a fluke or if I can actually make them now!

Note: If anyone is considering getting one of the little 'Black Box' Cartomizer/Atomizer Ohm Meters they need a 510 to ego adapter... Or at least the one I got did... Sure wish the ad, or at least the picture of it in the ad, would've been a little clearer...

hardest part(I think) is getting the rubber grommet back in.

Agree 100%!! Is that not a pain? And I think that's where my failure rate is coming in at -- get one good for about every 5 attempted... Everything (that you can see, which ain't that much) looks great, but a dead short shows when I test them... :(

I put the grommet on a pencil, and slide it in that way. It wont go all the way, but goes enough to get it started, then I just use my needlenose pliers to push it all the way in. I also use a pair of really small fiskar scissors to place the metal piece into place.

Great suggestion -- I'll try that tomorrow!! Thanks...

Another couple victories this afternoon! Got 3 more rebuilt, but had one of them die within a half and hour of use... So, back to the drawing-board tomorrow...

FWIW, I sent a note to Kanger about the probs with the T3s, but it seems like, while they say they're aware of probs with the Protank they think the T3s and EVods are fine...
