T3 Mini leaking like a sieve!

Mini T3 was great, brand new on Monday, 2 refills, everything fine. 3rd refill this afternoon it's
leaking out of the bottom of the head like crazy, so I decided to put on a new head. Guess what? Still leaking... Any ideas or am I basically screwed?

It sounds like they both could use a new flavor wick, but I can't say with certainty without seeing what is happening.

No, I changed the head after the leak thinking that would cure the issue. Flavor wick is brand new as is the entire head.

Has to be a problem with the tank then. My guess is that the silicone seal thingie isn't making good enough contact with the lip of that top center tube inside the tank. Does it look like the bottom ring with the threads (or the top ring) has separated a little from the tank? Or maybe something in the threads not letting you screw the heads in all the way? Or maybe that first head pushed the top up just enough to screw up the tank (maybe from overtightening?). Try holding it up to the light (with a head screwed in) to check the seal.

Somebody mentioned too that there was an additional o-ring or gasket in the newer heads (which none of mine seem to have). I guess that would impede contact as well. But I'm not having this problem, so I'm guessing you got a bad tank. You could try contacting CS or go to the hardware store to find a gasket.

What type of juice did you run through it? I noticed those tank crackers don't play well with the seals even if you use up the juice before it should crack or fog.

Nope, and not really a gunker either. That's odd, I'm leaning more towards a bad tank now too. I have had a bad head before, but it was just one and it was the flavor wick not doing it's job of stopping the liquid, but two heads doesn't sound right.

Yeah, but it's been fine all week and just started after the 3rd fill earlier this afternoon. I was loving it up to now, seems like it's going to be a hassle.

I will, very disappointed right now as the juice leaked on my new X2 battery as well. Almost enough to make me open the pack of Marlboros thats been in the freezer for 4 weeks.

Just a guess and a suggestion...Check to see that the tip isn't loose on the top of the tank. From what you have described, a replacement head still leaking the same way, there appears to be another air path, other than from the bottom and through the wick system, that is preventing proper pressure equalization (for lack of a better term). I've heard some folks have fixed that problem by "flaring" the air tube inside the tip using a blunt pointed object. Maybe give that a shot. I use T3s all the time and haven't had one leak, yet(finger crossed hoping I haven't jinxed myself).
