All I hear about is Kanger T3 this and Kanger T3 that. I've only used clearomizers since I started vaping, and like them since they're fairly slim and don't look huge and bulky on my Volt Spinners and V9 Nebula batteries. However, when I crank mine up to 4.3V and 4.8V, I get an awful burnt taste, much like when my clearo needs cleaning (but these are brand new Volt clearos). Now I know they're recommended for use at 3.8V by SI, but if I got a T3, would they still have such a burnt taste? Otherwise, what's the point in having a 3.3-4.8V battery?!?!

Not being an expert.....I can only surmise that the coil is heating so hot that instead of vaporizing the liquid, it is burning the ingredients within the juice. If you have a Nano, it's gonna taste fried at anything above the recommended voltage. As for the T3 I believe taking it above the recommended voltage is at your own risk. Sorry that I can't be of more help.

A lot depends on the ohms of the atomizer in the clearo you're using and the type of juice you put in it. . I have a T3 that came with IIRC a 2.5 ohm head. I bought a pack of replacement heads for it that are 2.0 ohms and found I had to lower my voltage or I started getting burnt tastes. Also some juices taste better at lower voltages. I find 'light' flavours like fruits tend to get 'burney' quickly so always start at low voltage and work up slowly until you hit the 'sweet spot'. The great thing about a VV device (I use twists myself) is being able to 'fine tune' to match the coil/juice combo. Most of my vaping is done on vivi-novas, kangers & iClears all between 1.8 and 2.5 ohms and from 3.2 to 4.4-ish volts. Nothing I've tried yet likes anything higher. Hope this helps! Keep calm and vape on! :D
