T3 Upgrade?

Has anybody heard if Kanger is planning to upgrade the T3 to an Evod/Protank style coil?

I used T3s for about 3 months until the Evod came out. I really like the smaller clear mouthpiece on the Evod, but the biggest thing I like is the coil system. They’re way cheaper, and work way better(for me anyway). In the last four months, I haven’t done anything with the wicks on my Evods except rinsing every couple of days.

I really like the size of the T3 tank. If they upgraded the T3 to an Evod style coil, I could live with the larger mouthpiece.

Yep they are - a recent co-op has been delayed a little due to the change Kanger is making for the T3 - now dubbed T3s, this will be an added bonus for sure.

I have many of the older bases with the coils built into them and have just been rebuilding them. For now that works for me (not intended to be a pun by any means!)

That looks good except it looks like it doesn't hold any more juice than an Evod.

It looks even worse on the T3 because it has a clear tank. I can handle the way it looks on something with an opaque tank...

I also don't see the point of it, since there's already the evod. Put an evod coil in a T3 and there's not much of a difference between the two anymore. It's pretty much an evod with the markings of a T3...

I don't like the clear mouth piece either. You can see the condensation and it looks nasty.

i do like the clear mouthpiece much more than the black one, id does condensate a bit but it is hardly an issue if you look at if from a feet away. I would love to see a frosted mouthpiece rather than this one but still for me better than the black one

btw, has anyone tried to frost it???

Take some heavy grit sand paper to it, then work your way to something fine grit. Frosting plastic is easy. I'm going to go home and do that to mine now

I'm a little bit confused by Kanger's product line. I was pretty sure that the custom Mini T3 was a precursor to the superior EVOD. But if this T3S is the same size as a EVOD, it seems like they are moving backwards...

I think in the co-op the new bases and heads will fit the existing T3 and mini T3 tubes. For this reason all the people who ordered just replacement heads for these - Kanger is going to include bases for all the heads. That was my understanding anyways.

The problem would arise if vendors cannot get just the bases with the head replacements and only the head replacements. I have way too many of the previous version not to rebuild them. It wouldn't make sense (financial or otherwise) for me to have to buy whole new units to replace all that I have.

After looking at the pictures more, I’m not sure I like the clear mouthpiece on a clear tank. That’s a lot of clear plastic. It needs some color. I like it on an Evod, because it helps us optically challenged people see if we have juice left.

I’m wondering why Sun Vapers' logo is on the pictures on Kanger’s website.

Got Vapes has a “Coming Soon” video on their forum that shows the new T3 for a few seconds, but doesn't give any information about them. It looks like a full size T3.

Even better a 510 base and don't say a protank I have and love them. I have a on of t3 tanks if I could switch them to 510 that would be great.

That's a good call right there. I don't see why there can't be a clearo with eGo and 510 threads...

Didn't get around to the sandpaper deal yet, btw. But I managed to drop and scratch my new black evod really badly so I may be doing some visual modification soon. I'll post back if it works out well.

They are probably referring to the mini Protank. Been on a lookout for the release of this beauty!
