Makes sense. Kanger has been simplifying their products... the new MT3s looks like an eVod that had a growth spurt and there is some interchangeably with the T3s heads on the eVod (or so I've been told).

Guessing that soon, the eVod, Protank and T3s will share the same coils officially... making the T3s just a longer eVod.

Not just the coil. The base that the coil screws into. I have seen a few folks saying they wished the bottom base of the EVOD had knurles like the T3S/MT3S. They screw right in and look really nice. I have one of each, EVOD, T3S, MT3S, and a PROTANK. My experience is that the only coil that is possible on all of them is the T3S/MT3S coil. The EVOD and PROTANK coil have larger diameter disk above the threads that screw into the base, which the T3S/MT3S will not let pass into the tank. On my protank, I have swapped the EVOD center pin onto a T3S coil to restrict air flow. I have a few center pins I kept to throw in the rotation. I am not rebuilding the coils at this point, but have allot of spare pieces. Lol.
