T3S help

I've had my kanger t3s for about 2 weeks now and it's starting to not hit as hard as it used to when I first got it. Im not confused with the liquid because I've used PG for awhile and it's always hit hard with this thing (because PG has a better throat hit from what I hear). It just won't produce as much vapor or sometimes very little vapor at all. I have a vision spinner with the t3s and I always keep the voltage between 3.8-4.3. I have 24mg eliquid as well. Will someone tell me if I need a coil or wick or if it's better to just get a new piece altogether? Thanks

Take the base off.

Take the metal post off the base. It's press fit and you'll need to use a bit of strength.

Take the flavouring wicks off. You can either use a blow torch to burn the gunk off the
flavouring wicks, or toss them and use your own silica /cotton/ekowool/etc later.

Rinse base and flick dry.

Put base on pv and press the fire button for about 5 seconds. Keep doing this untill the wires glow red and no more vapor is produced.

RINSE again. Wires should now be free of gunk.

Optional : use a sonic toothbrush TO LIGHTLY clean wires and cavities of base. Be careful not to displace or break the wires.

Put your choice of flavor wicks back. Put the metal stem back and enjoy your revived head.

Danny, the T3s atomizer portion actually unscrews from the base now :)

Did not know the flavor wicks should be removed before dry burning... uh oh

Edit - Yup... I fried them.

In my t3s it seemed like the coil is wrapped around the wick

The coil is wrapped around the wick in conventional builds. With microcoils and cotton, we typically wind the wire around a drill bit/screwdriver/toothpick/paper clip/etc. We then thread the cotton thru the coil.

End result is still the same, coil is wrapped around the wick.

A conventional build would have gaps between the coils and has a larger bore.
A microcoil has no gaps between the coils and has a smaller bore.
On the phone now, so I don't have the link. But search ecf for super_x_drifter and microcoils.
