Do you have a part number for the couplings. When I made mine I couldn't find any that looked like yours.
The key here is not using standard copper tube, like you you did, for the body.

Couplings is the key word. Look at HomeDepot for repair Couplings, Couplers / Couplings , repair sleeve etc. They should have short ones and lengths of 6 or 12". They are used to either join two pieces, or to repair a pipe (by sleeving over it) . They have the same ID as the OD of standard copper water pipe. The ones used for 3/4" will have the same ID and OD of the caps you used. Hence the 'even' lines.

If you look at his vid where he pulls it apart, you'll see the standard pipe inside.

For touch switch itself, I bought a really thick gauge wire form Home Depot. I just cut them short and used it as a switch.
It would have been nice if there was even thicker gauge wires at Home Depot, so that i don't have to look down to find the switch. lol But it was the thickest at Home Depot. If you watch my video, i'm looking down to find my button, I made my button too flush with the tube.

Thanks for the comeback TuErOs. I would love a better explanation of the wiring. I have started building coppers myself but I'm really using KISS here. Mine go like this:

Tube connects - from batt base to atty
Positive batt top touches stopper soldered in tube with bass srcrew in stopper
Brass screw is wired to 3A switch
Switch wired to possitive in base of atty

Thats it for me. In your diagram, you show the mosfet and two resistors. If you don't mind, can you explain the why's and hows of the wiring in some more detail. I'm a noob Modder and haven't gotten beyond the basics yet.

Very SWEET mod BTW. Has me inspired to knock something out...while I'm working on replicating Break's VV Copper:)

Ok, here it goes,

nipple of the battery --> copper tube --> touch button --> 1K resistor --> 'G' pin on mosfet --> 2 to 4M resistor --> 'S' pin on mosfet --> flat side of the battery. Now thats one lope.

'D' pin on mosfet --> inside pin of the battery connector --> outer battery connector mounted on copper tube. Thats it. :)

The 2-4M resistor is there to 'close' the circuit on mosfet, since once mosfet 'open' it stays open.
1k resistor is there for the finger sensibility, I think.

Switch only work with your fingers, any other part of your body does not activate it (maybe your toes activate it. I don't want to touch my pv with my foot. So don't ask me to try it. lol ). Pocket friendly!
