I have a Taifun GT clone from Slowtech. I'm using a 1.4ohm 28g kanthal wick with cotton. It's working fine except for the gurgling. Any help on a remedy for this? Thanks!
do you have enough wick going out the wick hole? when screwing the cap down you should see wick depressing alittle.
i would think its either your wicking or possibly an o-ring askew

if you really want to learn about wicking a tgt...look up cloud 50 on youtube. he is a master at cotton wicking. he has some good videos on the tgt and kayfun. i thought i knew how to wick before i saw his videos
good luck
The trick is to cut two small extra bits of cotton and place them on top of your wick where it passes through the chamber wall. I do this every time and never have any leaking. Also has the added benefit of adding a little more wicking material to hold more juice.
I had a similar issue. All I did was raise my coil so that the wicks were even with the holes in the chimney. No more leaking or gurgling. Seems obvious I guess, but im used to building as close to the air intake as I can on the kayfuns. After solving that issue, I'm really liking the GT!
