Taifun GT vs. Kayfun vs. The Russian/The Russian 91%

I've been trying to find an atomizer of this style for quite some time and was wondering what the people out there find to be their favorite one. I've got a little experience with the AGA-T2 but don't really like it because I have a kitten that loves to knock things over which tends to end up in the juice spilling out of these (even when I put it in my ModBlock, he picks things up). I also have a little experience with the Nimbus rda but I'm still working out the kinks in that.

So basically, which ones are your favorite and why? And where can I purchase one of these elusive atomizers? The Taifun GT is like spotting a unicorn; I got as far as putting one in my cart but before I could complete the ordering process they sold out on one of the European sites. The kayfun seems to never be in stock on VapeRev. The Russian is on pre-order but I'm confused as to the difference between The Russian and The Russian 91%.

Thanks for any help.

Ok, the Russian is a clone of the Kayfun 3.1. The Russian 91% is a clone of the Kayfun Lite. The Kayfun Lite and the Russian 91% are smaller than their counterparts. With the smaller size, they don't have all the features of the Kayfun 3.1/Russian. If you do some searching, you can find the Russian and 91% on pre order. Both the Russian and 91% have all parts that are interchangeable with the original KF and KFL. One of the quirky things about the Russian 91% is that it actually has an air control which was one of the features that the KFL lacks.

As far as the Taifun GT, that is a tough one to find. I don't know much about it.

I love my KFL. I use it, along with my Hercules, Terminator C, and Euforia. I never knew silica wicks could have such incredible full flavor. I thought I would have to use mesh or ceramic!

kayfuns and KF lights pop in stock pretty regularly now.
intaste, vaperev, cloud9 and even svoe mesto's site seem to restock pretty quick.

I think smokerstore.de is one of the few retailers for the taifun and they do preorders on one day a month only usually.

several people have expressed that they believe the taifun to be better on taste. but by very little and not enough to not get the kayfun.
I am sure doing a mesh build would give the gt an advantage in some areas.

Love my KF light, paired with a mech it has to one of the most carefree and worry free setups I have ever used. never leaks, pocket friendly and holds plenty of juice.

As far as what's the best/ I dunno. Matter of opinion. I've been using genesis type RBAs for over a year, have several high end units, and about the only ones I use anymore are RSSTs. Great RBAs for the money. I have 5 Kayfun Lites, and I love the things. I did manage to get on the most recent pre order for a Taifun GT; but haven't received it yet.

I actually have a Kayfun 3.1ES, a Russian, and a Russian %91 coming in the mail. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they all perform. I kinda want a Taifun as well, but they are rather hard to get atm. I'm interested in how that new clone of it with the glass tank functions... I’m even interested in seeing what the reviews are for the fogger fasttech model as well.

So far I’ve been mostly a genesis and RDA kinda guy, so all these are gonna be a new venture for me. I’ve got a few terminator-c’s I don’t use all that much… there more of a PITA than the gennys are for me. I need to spend some more time with them I guess.

I bought the Russian from Salt Lake Vapors, and am really impressed with it. Just looked, and they are now out of stock. Came with everything needed to do several build. Just did my first micro coil on it, an am impressed with this build. Liked the Kayfun style so well ordered 2 Rockets. Also have a genesis I-Atty ordered, which should show up on monday.

I looked at fogger and it appears it requires stainless mesh that is deal killer for me. The main reason I am interested is Russian / kfun use silica?

no, you *can* use SS mesh in it but, imo it works better with silica. i have mine going just as good as any of my high end atty's... love the thing actually. however, quality control is sub par and some units require some modding. like mine did ;) nothing major, and worth it.

Got a question...are the clear tank sections interchangeable between the kayfun 3.1,lite and russian 91? I busted the clear tank section of my 91 and they don't sell parts for it

As if by magic... post #3 reappears! ;-)

no, what I meant was is the 3.1 clear tank the same as the kfl tank?

Yep... the standard tank fits Kayfun V3.1 ES, KFL and KFL+.
