When I refill mine, as I twist the base with atomizer into the tank, the chimney tube grabs onto the atomizer cap, and turns it, together with the atomizer body. That pulls my lovingly arranged wicks out of the holes, and it floods immediately.

Have any of you found a way to deal with that? What concerns me more is when I get my steel tank and don't even see as that happens.

Since I run cotton, I wonder if I should just stuff the whole chamber with cotton, and not leave the little ends sticking out? So that it can turn all it wants?

Thank you!

Hrm, the only time mine moves is when putting the top cap back over the coil/wick set up. But you just hold that part as you screw the top cap on and it stays. This part never moves when I'm screwing the tank on...

"part" = the piece with the logo / serial # on it

almost sounds as if you're O-Ring at the bottom of the Chimney is too big...?

sounds like the clone, the pressfit stem is off center.

not really much you can do someone posted about using a tighter oring on the coil skirt to make it less likely to move

i pulled my stem off and reseated it since then it has been straight, total fluke as i didnt meant to pull it off as I was trying to just bend it a little.

Thank you, Thrasher. That actually helped. The tube was a bit crooked after I glued it into the top cap. I flipped the tank upside down to see what is going on, and managed to straighten it out with some pliers. Works like a charm now, even with the steel tank.

Incidentally, steel tank's threads sucked big time. Had to smooth them out with a wire brush in a dremel.
