I don't like kits with only one battery--you really need at least two of them, should one fail. I'm not familiar with those batteries either, but I'd choose a kit with either a ProTank mini or an eVod. Don't buy the ProTank 3--not worth it. ProTank 2 is a good tank, but it's wider in diameter than the eGo battery so your device will look a bit top heavy--if that doesn't bother you, that's also a good option.

Go with the Evod Starter Kit. You can't go wrong with this kit, and Vape Dojo has the best price on the net. My Wife and I got off cigs with these things, then she talked her two sisters into getting off cigs with them! The Evod kit is all you need for a beginning vaper, and You can't beat two batteries, two tanks, 5 extra coils, and a charger assembly for under 40 bucks. Best investment you can make!

It's a great deal, but those are non-vv batteries. I like vv batteries. :)

I prefer this kit; it's more expensive, but it's customizable and comes with two vv batteries of your choice... But we're getting off topic. ;) Sorry, OP.

Bottom left or top left, for the fact that both of those have glass tanks - eliminating plastic tanks as being one more thing that can be a problem that needs replacing. If you want a nice slim profile then the bottom left with the PT Mini.

If this is your starter gear then same as others have said: mechanicals aren't the place for the majority of new vapers to start. You can get a decent vape out of the eGo kits with a minimum of fuss. You have to learn a lot from battery safety to laws of physics - and be good at construction and tinkering - to even approach vaping with a mech mod.

Innokin iTaste VV Ver 3.0 on ebay with a decent clearo. I found one for $44 with a Protank III for 44 a couple of weeks ago. The VW is a terriffic feature, and the only thing "wrong" with a Protank III is it really needs a Aerotank variable airflow on it to make it awesome. Or you could get a Mini Protank III, they are great out of the box. I have two (third one went to the girlfriend) and they work great. They do not gurgle or leak at all, even when close to empty and the vapor production at 7.5Watts is as good as the PT3 and better than the Mini PT2. I prefer the VV Ver 3 over the 1300mah twist I have. Sure the 800MAH battery may not last as long, but the passthrough charging/vaping ability pretty much beats any twist or non-twist hands down.

OK , sounds like the Evod starter kit is the way to go , is there a new Evod 2 starter kit that's better or the standard eGo or Evod kit is fine .

Confused about the Ego and Evod and which one to get . Any links to sales or codes .
Thanks folks

Here is a link to the Kanger Evod kit that I started with, and quit smoking with. You get two batteries, 2 evod clearomizers and a charger. Everything you need except the juice. This is a reliable vendor, and shipping is free. If you use the code ECF at checkout you get 10% off, making it about $30.

Kanger EVOD eGo Full Kit - Vaping Me

This beginner kit will get you started, and will make a nice back up if you decide to get something more advanced as you go along.

I think the Evod 2 kit is pretty much the same, but costs more. Also it comes with heads with dual bottom coils, which probably cost more to replace than the ones in the original Evod kit, if that matters to you. Personally, I like to keep my expenses down when I can, especially on replaceable items like coils.

I now have a Zenesis Sidewinder and a few Kayfuns but my real transition from analogs to vapes was the VV3. I kicked myself for not going VV/VW from the get go. If you are spending 30, you might as well spend a little more so you can have the versatility to adjust your electricity for your different juices.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I can't stand being confused , I just found a Innokin MVP 2.0 for about $10.00 bucks more than the EVOD kit and people seem to love it . I couldn't find this thread until now (yeah I know I started it) but nonetheless I just found it again while many of you found my other thread , now if only I can find that one .

Thanks for the advice everyone.
