Taking apart a VX2 battery?

I accidently pulled the center post out of an unresponsive battery, and rather than just throw it away I'd like to take a look at the innards, preferably without breaking the casing. Anyone who's done this, can you post a step-by-step? Or is there a thread for it already? A search of the mod forum didn't turn up anything.
