Taking the leap

Well I haven't been vapeing long but seem to be accumulating stuff fairly fast. I just pulled the trigger on a red mini l-rider hoping for Monday or Tuesday to be here. I also ordered some ce3 smokymizers it say 2.8-3.0ohms. Anybody tried these with the lavatube?

haven't tried the smoky's but I have used the 2.8 e2's. They work fantastic! start around 3.4/3.7 and work your way up though. They will fire off harder than you think once you hit the 4-4.2 range.

I am using the ce3's. Once I discovered that I need a little thinner juices to get rid of that "burned" taste; they hit awesomely!

I use ce3's and I love them. I use thick juice and the bottom coil works better than the top coil of a CE2. Just remember to put the condom on the connector end until you've replaced the little plug after you fill them. Otherwise the juice will leak straight out the bottom. Also, get a hold of a proper tweezer. The one they send in the pack is a joke. A good tweezer, especially one with a curved tip, makes all the difference.

I've never had any problem with gurgling as long as I don't overfill it. You need to keep a small space, maybe 1/8", between the top partition and the juice. As for the condensation, you're going to get condensation with any carto. If you don't believe it, try using a transparent drip tip sometime. With a filled carto, it just drips into the filler. With the CE3, it drips into the sealed area above the juice tank. I've never gotten a drop of it into my mouth. When I refill one, I can absorb all that condensation and the tiny bit of juice that's mixed with it, with one end of a Q-tip. I have CE3's that I have used for over 6 weeks and cleaned 5 times and they're still working like new, without any residual taste. Try that with a Boge. They also use ALL the juice and give and no dry hits. None, not one ever, even when you've vaped one down to that last little bit of 100% VG. Try that with a CE2.

I pretty much hate the smokymizers so maybe I got a bad batch but just to be safe, I'm never gonna buy them again. Maybe you got lucky and got the perfect batch.....who knows. The flavor and vapor are great but the gurgling and having to absorb the condensation = major LOSE for me.

Am I just incredibly lucky with my CE2's? I chain vape BWB Malty Toffee (30/70 pg/vg) and it hits like a champ every time. I only notice that it tastes burnt when I go over 4 volts on the 2.5 Ohm CE2's. All the other juices are either 70/30 or 60/40 and do just as well. I haven't modded them or anything, just filled them out of the box primed the wick and vaped like I was trying to quit smoking! Is it luck?
