Hello to everyone on e-cigarette-forum.com! This will be my first post as I am interested in becoming active in the e-cigarette community. I will start by a little background on myself. At the time of writing I am currently 23 years old and have been actively smoking at least a pack of Marlboros for the better half of 7 years. I am a menthol smoker and have tried every new menthol cigarette on the market. My current analog of choice are the Marlboro "Black-Green" shorts. I have been experimenting on and off with e-cigarettes over the last few years on and off. Most of which have been terrible experiences with the "gas-station rechargeable" versions. However, I am currently the owner of a "Fin" rechargeable with the menthol cartomizers. I am enjoying them, and have significantly cut back on my analog smokes (down to about a half a pack per day). I have also been enjoying the njoy Kings once in a while as well. EXTREMELY wonderful disposable e-cig, but at $7.99 USD a pop, not exactly the best choice financially as a pack of Marlboros cost me around $5.xx depending on where you go. Per my lease on my home, smoking inside the premises is not permitted (in Michigan winters, this is a terrible downfall :p). Now that I have introduced myself and gave a bit of background, I will continue on to fill everyone in on my new adventure.

I just finished placing my order for an innokin iTaste MVP from vaporbeast.com and three different flavors of e-juice from vapedudes.com. All in all my final order for my initial jump into full-on vaping was around $80 USD for everything. I wanted a vaporizer that was very easy to use right out of the box (as my head was spinning from all of the research I have done before my first order). I am curious what a few other members experiences are with the vaporizer as well as the companies I have ordered from. Any and all input is appreciated and welcomed!

I hope to now be able to cut out analogs all together and make the final move to vaping for good. Working on getting my fiancee on the train as well, as well as a few family members.

I am looking forward to hearing from all members! :)

VAPE ON!

Well, I have never so much as heard of anything you mentioned except for the Njoy Kings. But the Innokin is certainly an interesting looking device. I've heard of Vapedudes and I think a lot of people use them. You're sure to find a ton and a half of other products and vendors and more than you ever wanted to know here. Welcome aboard.

Hi there!
I am new too, second post here. That is so awesome that are finding this at a young age. I smoked for 50 years and haven't had a regular cigarette in almost two weeks so if I can do it anyone can. I bought the Fin system too on my second shopping trip......it isn't bad really , batteries last longer than blucigs. I really don't like the flavor. Using an Ego now with 24 mg liquid and the difference is night and day. When I get an urge I grab my Ego and vape like crazy . it works!!

This is SO inspiring to hear! I am very excited to hear that someone in your position (has smoked for the length of time that you have), can make this transition so easily. It truly makes me have high hopes for being able to kick the habit once and for all! In my ramble, I have almost forgotten to tell you CONGRATULATIONS! Keep up the vaping and continue your journey to better health and happy vaping! :)

Congrats, and just stick with vaping, even if you have a few slips....

I purchased the ITaste MVP about two weeks ago, and love it! It's a great device, that will give you over two days of vapping on a single charge!

I own and have owned numerous PV's (ProVari, VV Gripper, LavaTube, etc. etc.), and the iTaste MVP is an EXCELLENT choice!

Good luck, and please let us know how it's going.

...Another thing I would like to throw out would be asking everyone what kind of vaporizers you use, if you use cartomizers, drip-tips, etc. and where you get your juices from and what flavors are your "go-to's". Thanks again in advance! :)
Okay, now you've just entered the realm of personal preference.
You can get all the suggestions in the world, but only you will be able to find out what YOU like best.

Just for fun though, I am a dedicated dripper, and don't use cartomizers or tanks or what have you.
And I have about 15 flavors I keep around, and the go-to would be whatever one I'm in the mood for at the time.
:)

Dripper here too.

If it was safe to drip and drive, and if I could see better to drip while sitting in the dark to watch a movie, I would probably only drip. However, it's not safe to drip and drive, and my eyesight in the dark isn't as good as it used to be. So, I've got lots of other stuff.

It's just that nothing is as pure, simple, and reliable as dripping.

It's also just plain fun to have a variety of devices along with a variety of flavors!

Damn, I wish I'd found vaping as young as you have! Not that it was available way back then, but, you know ;) Getting better quality kit is definitely the way forward - the difference in vape quality even between my eGo/CE5s and my current eVic/AGA-S setup is huge, and the seemingly-constant fiddling to make better wicks and coils gives me plenty to do with my hands. I've gone from a 1.5 pack/day smoker to less than a pack a week, and most of those are when my girlfriend forgets and lights me one at the same time as she does one for herself :D

My fiance is also a smoker, and I am trying to convert her as well. HUGE upside to helping with our quitting analogs is the fact that we do not smoke in our home. (Even being a smoker, I CANNOT STAND the smell of cigarettes!).

She's been really good about leaving the room to smoke this last week or so, so I think it's getting through :) Now that I have my eVic, she's been using my old eGo setup loaded with Gorilla Juice in eGo-T carts in place of analogues when I'm home - makes a huge difference to me, and she's seeing that I definitely take vaping seriously as a replacement for cigarettes :)
