Yep. And get extra heads. Standard ohms (2.3 ish). Gives you range to adjust up/down with the twist.

Maybe try a bunch of juice samplers. Most people go through 3 or 4 ml of juice per day. Maybe little more with a tank.

Also an atomizer is handy for tasting juices but not required. If you don't like it, you don't want to toss a whole tank full....(you can actually drip a little into a Vivi Nova before filling it but you need to make sure you wet the wick well enough...may want some experience.) Atty is also handy for "Plan B" if the tank fails for some reason.

And I'd get the $8.00 upgrade for making them both 1000 mAh.

(This is fun! Spending your money like that. :D)

The gas station ecigs will give you a few hours on a charge, on a good day.

I would suggest an ego twist 1000mah, which should last you all day. On top of the battery I have a Kanger t2 clearomizer. You fill with you eliquid and you are all set for awhile. The heads are replacable too. It's all really easy to use, and not much more in price then the starter kits. And you need eliquid to fill it with. Taste is subjective, and I didn't smoke menthol so I leave that to someone else. Searching each item I mentioned will give you more information. You Tube has lots of info, too. Try Phil Brusardo videos.

Always looking for good vids to watch re: Phil Brusardo ... will look him up!

Reo Grand + 2x ikv 1.8ohm 510 atomizers + 2 AW IMR 18650 batteries and a charger. Grab a selection of juices in smaller bottles and varied nic levels (go higher on non sweet flavors lower on the sugary stuff).

Expensive in comparison but long term investment that will pay off. Very easy to maintain and use, all mechanical so almost nothing to break.

Just my 2 cents.

Ok, so this would include everything I need to get started, minus the juice?

Still a little confused about all the parts of the system, even after reading over things in the InfoZone. Having never seen one in person, I think once I get my hands on one it will be easier.

Thanks

That looks like a great setup. You won't regret it.

 Ok, I have got everything ordered now (with the larger 100mah batteries and extra heads). I also ordered about 6 different 15ml juices to try out first. I will report back and let everyone know how its going after they come in. Thanks again for the help!

Ok everyone, after my first week of vaping, I have run into some problems. I got 6 different juices to try out when I purchased my Twist and the first one I tried out I wasn't very impressed with. The flavor was OK, but it kind of burned my throat if I took a direct throat hit. So yesterday I decided to try one of the other flavors that I got. I switched out the head that I was using because I thought I had read that they can start to take on the flavor of the juice you are using. I also cleaned out the Vision Mini Nova tank and poured in the new juice. This new one was a lot sweeter than the last, but it didn't burn my throat at all if I took a direct throat hit. So I figured we were heading in the right direction, and it will just take some time to find something I really like. Now skip to this morning, and I found that the Vision Mini Nova tank had cracked over night. I have cleaned it up, but am left wondering if I did something wrong or is this something that happens from time to time? I also noticed that the old head was 2.4 ohms and the new one is a 1.8 ohm. Could that difference have caused this break to happen and would the difference have any effect on how the first juice I tried being harsher on my throat? Lastly, should I go ahead and purchase another Mini Nova, or do you recommend something else?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome TheTechGuy! I'm new too, to the forums and vaping.
I got an ego-T starter kit, with a 1000mah battery. I chain vape all day and the batteries last 2-3 days for me. I am SUPER happy with the battery!
As for flavor....I've seen a lot of websites selling eliquid that say "this one tastes like blah blah blah brand cigarettes". I bet someone here will be able to point you in the right direction for that. Personally I'm using the sweet non-tobacco flavors. :)
Good luck finding your perfect vape!!

Hi - What flavor juice were you using? Several flavors will crack the plastic tube of a nova.

It was an Amaretto flavored juice and it looks like you were right after going back and looking at some reviews for the juice. :(

So is there a sturdier tank I can get that will work with my setup instead of another plastic tank? Also, why is it that some juices will crack the plastic tubes? Is it the heat?

OMG TechGuy. Now I feel bad that I didn't mention that.

It's a common problem with clearos too, and other stuff. Fortunately the part is easily replaced for a few bucks. You can also get a metal "tank" enclosure too if you want that (it isn't clear of course, so you have to open it up to check juice level once or twice a day ish).

I thought they went with newer type of plastic on the 2.5 version (and any later). But...Some juices just...kill...stuff. Makes you wonder what the heck is in em. So far, I've not had an issue (knocks on wood).

It's some form of chemical reaction.

No worries about that. I got some replacements ordered today along with a metal tank as well to try it out.

The best way to save money is bying from the start vw mod and a rebuildable atty. I recomend the bolt with kick inside and you will propably never change it. About atty, buy an odysseus china made or find a penelope from gg series and you are done. Sorry for text mistakes...

These are great recommendations but for people new to ecigs they maybe too advanced.

Several sites that sell RBA's carry warnings accordingly.

Also a starter might be daunted by the Kick as well.
