l'm visiting Seattle for the first time (loving it, want to move here) and doing the tourist thing; Science Fiction Museum, Space Needle, monorail, Fremont, etc. All good up until I reached into my pocket and couldn't find my vapes.
Now, back home I normally carry two or three Joye 510s in a little cellphone case that also fits in two bottles of niquid, but being on vacation and not wanting to risk running out, I'd crammed about seven batteries and five atties into my carrying case. Plus the two nearly-full bottles of niquid. You know that expression about not putting all your eggs in one basket ...
I went back and searched the area around the Space Needle, called the Museum, the monorail ... nothing. I hope whoever found my vapes and kept them knows what to do with them. I found one spare 510 in my jacket pocket, and my only other supplies were about a quarter of a bottle of niquid and my laptop passthrough. In an unfamiliar city, at the start of a three-week trip. It's times like these you really wish stores carried these things.
I was bummed, but not panicked; if all else failed I'd just buy packs of cigarettes as I'm not the type to beat myself up if I have a smoke now and then. Still, I wasn't looking forward to it and just felt bad about losing my vapes. Put in a replacement order as soon as I got back to the hotel.
That was Friday; today (Monday) I've received a package from the ladies at cignot.com (my usual supplier, in Chicago), containing two new 510s, a wall charger, two big bottles of 30 mg EcoPure Rich and 25 mg English Toffee and 5 MLB High carts. With a nice personalised note written on the order form
.
Lessons learned:
Don't put all your eggs in one basket!
I am a true nicotine addict who would rather go back to smoking cigarettes than take the opportunity to quit the drug completely
Cignot rocks!
