Last night Both my Batties died and I mean died both will not take a charge at all.
I put one battery on for 4+ hours and nothing light still remained red.
Well I figured it should of been enough time to get a few drags off. I put my atty on and only got a half a HT. So I put my other battery on and the same Nothing can't even get a HT. so I guess I will have to go and buy some analogs for the rest of the week. for I hate to do.

Edit:
I thought batteries were suppose to last longer than three days.

What brand do you have? If it's the one I first started with that brand actually set me off of vaping for over a year.
According to the box my 510 came in, they were made by Shenzhen Joye Technology Co.
That is a bummer!

I don't know what equipment you have but that sounds like you may have a problem with your charger.
I doubt it is the charger cause I did manage to get one TH off of one battery after 5+ hours of charging and Batt. died again.
Yeah, I would definitely call the company and let them know. If they are a decent company they should have the problem fixed in no time. If not, I would return it and tell your credit card company you want your money back and that should not be a problem either.
Going to call them up as soon as they open.
And I was doing so great too, now I have to buy analog for another week or until I get replacement parts.

what model batteries are you charging?

it does sound like the charger may be at fault
Joye 510 batteries. I might send that in too.
I feel for you. It's happened to me too. Contact the supplier. Also, get another charger, as that might be the problem instead of the batts. Even if it isn't you'll have a spare and they're pretty inexpensive.
Yea payday I was planning on getting the 10 battery charger from Cignot. and a few more batteries.

I would have to agree that it's the charger. I had 1 go bad last week, but luckily I had a spare. I had it for just 3 weeks. My first thought was the batteries too, but it would be strange for both to go bad at the same time. I got a replacement right away and ordred a third, just to be on the safe side. For the little bit they cost, it's smart to have spares. I also have 4 batteries. I'm leaving today for 3 days and am comfortable that I have 4 batteries and 2 chargers, plus a USB car charger.

I had this happen almost exactly the way you described it was the charger for me and in fact it was actually just a cleaning issue. I had gotten liquid on the battery and then into the charger and it was not making enough contact to charge either battery. I took a piece of tissue and cleaned out the charger and the battery ends and poof problem solved.

don't know if this will help but it's worth a shot.

Hi, Icicle.

(Sorry if the following questions are completely off base but I tend to start with basics when it comes to trouble shooting)

First off: I think you bought the 510 PCC kit, right? Were you trying to re-charge the batteries in the PCC or were you using a standard 510 AC wall charger? If you only used the PCC, was it charged up? (You need to charge the case from the usb port of your computer unless you buy an ipod style usb-to-ac adapter.)

The PCC case can take a while to charge up---especially if you ran it down to zero.

The reason I ask about the charger is because it's rare that two 510 manual batteries would both die on you at the same time---only a few days after you received them. It's possible, for sure, but unlikely.

Hope you figure this out. What a drag to have this happen so soon after you just began vaping . . .

In addition to cleaning the contact points, try unplugging the charger from the wall and re-plugging it after several seconds.
Done that, my charger light turns green when Battery is unscrewed from it and turns red after I screw it back on.

contact points and rubbing alcohol.battery and charger point.
Also did that with a Q-tip and no blackness came off of either, no dirt no nothing.

No I didn't get the PCC case, just got a usb charger kit.
Also got my kit from myPVshop.com which was located in the supplier section from this forum.
And I been using my Cell phone usb to AC adapter which is also 5 volts and 0.7 Amps
And if my calculations are correct 0.7 amps = 699.999999 milliamps.
the standard car adapter is about 500 milliamps and the PT one is 1000 milliamps.
I even hooked up my usb charger to my computer usb port and still didn't charge.

If you really liked the 510, you might look into a mod like Alt-Smoke's Silver Bullet or BB. Or Pure Smoker's Protege, Prodigy V2 or any number of others that use a 510. The batteries for these are way cheaper and you can have as many backups as you like and never be in this situation again.

I have serveral mods that all use similar batteries and atomizers so that I don't have problems that I can't just use my other batteries and attys to fix.

Good luck, hang in there, over time you will find the best solutions that work for you. Welcome to the wonderful world of vap'n!
