This is probably a dumb question, but does the Haas have a memory so that once you program for a Tanbur for example, you can just come back at any point in the future and run some Tanburs with little fuss?

Yes, they are stored both on a computer and on the machine itself. Still not quite as simple as pushing a button as you need to change over the bar feeder for the correct size stock, the spindle liner, collet and of course the turret tooling. Set up the offsets and run some parts...
