Hello Vapors,

My girlfriend vapes 70% VG, 30% distilled water. She is interested in obtaining a 3.5Ml Smoktech tank.
Anyone have any suggestions as to how many holes in the carto will work for said ratio?
Is 2 holes enough? Will 3 holes cause flooding? She wants the pre-punched with flange that goes with said tank.

Thank you, I really appreciate how people like to help here... :)

I've used 100% VG in cartos, having punched two holes in them, without any dry hits or flooding. I use 50/50 pg/vg blends most of the time with some 70/30 juices, along with the 100% vg juices and I seem to be fine with two hole carts. I have some single hole carts, but will usually punch a second hole, opposite of the pre-made one, unless the juice just seems really watery.

Thank you, sir, for taking the time to reply. It is helpful. She is on the edge weather or not to get a tank. I think she is going to get a blue colored 3.5Ml Smoktech to go with her "blue on blue (led lights)" ProVari Mini I got her for Christmas. That ProVari has opened up a whole new vapin' world for her. I figured it would as I purchased a black (blue led) ProVari extended cap back in August and have never looked back...
Since it is so much money (but I'm a Made In U.S.A. freak) I spent 2 daze on the internet looking for a excuse to not buy one. The only bad comments were, "It's really expensive." and, "It's heavy." So one night after much soul searching (I'm on a fixed income), I bit the bullet and pushed "place order" with my eyes closed... Man, am I ever glad I did!

Congrats on the Provari's.

I have used the following Smoktek tank replacement cartos with the flange and pre-laser-drilled holes. The recommended 3.0 ohm resistance for a variable voltage single coil is available with one or two holes. I've used both; single hole for normal ratio pg/vg and two hole for all vg liquids and they work great. Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL

In case you aren't aware, you can get a high quality yet inexpensive pyrex tank from IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! for under $20. The slimmer 19mm tanks fit the top of a Provari perfectly, and the XL length is the correct size for the Smoktek cartos. The vendor sells pre-drilled cartos and drip tips on the site, too.

I did a review of these tanks here, with plenty of pics of the tanks: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-reviews/349222-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks.html
