Sorry for putting this here but I am not allowed to post in other forums yet so if a mod feels it should be moved feel free.

Having purchased and used Chibi tanks over the past 3 months I have found some useful tips that may help others.

I always punch my own carto's as the liquid i use is thin and with the carto's that come with the Chibi they will almost always flood more than work. ( no disrespect to Parkes on how they punch the carto's just my observation with my juice)

When I go to fill it for the first time I put the top seal on but leave an edge above the plastic of the tank for 2 reasons. The first is to easily fill with just a bottle and the second being it doesnt force the juice into the holes of the carto and cause flooding. After the juice is added press the top seal donw into the plastic tube and the pressure from that will prime the carto.

Check the inner tube of the carto and make sure it is clear. You should be able to see all the way trough. If it isnt clear use a straight paper clip and carefully insert in the inner tube of the carto al work all the way through. Make sure you have a napkin or papertowel at tha bottom as some juice will come out with the tip of the paper clip. Or you can gently blow through the carto and catch the excess liquid in a napkin.

When refilling the Chibi I pull the top grommet up a bit and expose on side to slide the needle in keeping the grommets from getting nicked and also making a small air escape to keep the pressure from forcing to much juice into the carto. I also leave a smallish air bubble at the top every time so excess juice wont squeeze out when you replace the grommmet.Blow out or clear the carto and good to go.

If you use a really thin juice try a single puch in the carto instead of 2.

I hope this helps some who are having issues with the Chibi.
