Hello :) Are you wanting to know about cartomizer tank cleaning? Or clearomizer tanks? When my plastic cartomizer tanks get gross I soak them in warm soapy water, and give them a good rinse. Clearomizer tanks you can rinse with just water, and change the atomizer head. Or you can dry burn them. After you rinse it out take off the rubber piece on the top part of the atomizer and turn your e cig on for 5 seconds then five seconds off. If you look down the hole and see the coils glowing you're done. Put the silicon cap back on and you should be good to go.

What kind of tank ? Why do you need to clean it? Its vaping burnt ?

Search Utube for "how to clean (insert name of your tank here)" will get you started.

In order to have some clue about how to help you, we need more info! If you just want to clean it because it looks nasty ? Rinse under warm water , let it dry overnight and you are good to go.

Regards.

I tried warm water and even quick boil dips to try to get the smell out of the wicks. I didnt submerge them long enough to warp the seals so im okay in reference to damaging them.
repeat a few times with just hot enough water, boiling not needed will get rid of most smell, taste. You can also try free and clear, 99% alcohol. Most are successful in cleaning out the taste and smell by just rinse with hot tap water and repeat a couple of times, let dry and refill.

Without knowing the type of tank you want to clean, if you want a non solvent based, or a non dry-burning method of cleaning your thanks, I would suggest:

Removing heating head/atomizer, and using tongs/tweezers to hold the tank and heating coil under as hot as you can get it tap water. Next fill a bowl with hot tap water and let the items soak for an hour or so. Rinse off the parts again when you remove them from the bowl. Repeat if needed.

If it's still putting off strong fumes of the juice you were using, let them soak over night. After rinsing, stand them up on a folded paper towel and let them dry for several hours. The wicks take the longest to dry.

Hope that helps.

I have some T-3 tanks and a pro tank. I would think the glass tank would be fairly easy to clean and get rid of odor but the plastic ones maybe not so much.

Since I have been vaping for less than 24hrs I would like some clarification on this, can you take the coil out of the tanks and get them wet? After drying thoroughly they will/ should work as normal?

The Protank is super easy. Rinse the tank and the atty holder and you're done. For the wick, as most people have already stated, rinse under hot water, making sure you get a good flow thru the center stem. This will run water directly over your wick. Then dab the wet wicks with a paper towel and let it dry. If you're impatient, get as much water out and dry burn it. Be sure not to hold the button down too long once you see the coils turn red since you can pop the wire. I've done it before but now I rebuild all of mine for a much better vape experience!

My local vape shop soaks the attys in a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water. I've read that some people use hydrogen peroxide too. I've tried hydrogen peroxide and it seems to work with stainless components. I do pull off the silicone gasket before dunking them though. After the soak, rinse and dry.

For light juices I use hot tap water to clean the tank and head. For stronger darker juices I soak the tank and head in PGA or vodka overnight.
Washing/ soaking cleans the wicks and tank parts. Dry burning turns the juice gunk on the coil into ash- rinse afterwards.
