Tank for segelei 30w

I just received my segelei 30w and at this point am not thrilled with it. I purchased something called a hypertank to go on it because I liked the look, the size, and the fact that I could change out the drip tip. The problem I'm having is I am only able to vape at 7.1 watts before getting a burnt taste. And even at that, I am not getting the great flavor that people talk about with this APV. Can anybody with the segelei recommend a better tank that I can use at a higher wattage that will give me a nice, rich flavor? Because right now, I get better, richer flavor from my ego style vaporfi pro XL.

I agree with Buffy76. You mightalso try an Aspire Nautilis, another good topper.

That being said, just remember that higher wattage on any given coil will vaporize more juice in a given time. That means that you will have to wait a bit longer between draws for the wick to re-saturate. Usually not much, but enough for you to have to be aware of it. That may have been the reason for the burnt taste you are experiencing. I know I had to learn not to chain vape so much while I was learning, too.

If you are getting great taste in anything you put on the Sigellei, you can try "pulsing" the fire button instead of holding it down for the whole draw. That helps keep the coil from getting too hot.

Clearos will be limited. You can only put so much power to them without modifications typically topping out at 8-12w on silica.

You need to get into rebuildables if you want to push 30. You also need a rba with a fairly open draw. The erlkonin is really popular right now. The lemo looks like a great contender that's better than kayfun/Russians... Or just get a decent dripper.

The flash-e-vapor is my rba sitting on a stacked sigelie zmax v3 putting out 25w, but the choice is yours.

I have the Nautilus Tank on my Sigelei 30 watt Standard 1.8 ohm DVC coil 20pg/80 Vg Juice. Set it at 8 watts and I get a nice warm Vape with the amount of Vapor I like,no wicking problems

Don't have a 30W mod, but I love my Nautiluses on my 20W Vamo V6. I haven't pushed much above 12W, but I get great vapor and flavor. I also run PT2 tanks with airflow bases, but I rebuild my own coils (I take a new coils and strip it immediately!) I've been able to push my homemade 1.8ohm coils to 11W without much issue.

Thank you all for the great advice. Not quite ready for an rba yet but for now I will definitely look into the nautilus and the aero tank. I remember watching a video review of the segelei and the guy was vaping at 11w And talking about the incredible flavor he was getting and I beleive he was using one of those tanks. He changed tanks a few times during the video though so am not sure which he said gave the best flavor.

Aspire has a new tank coming out called the alantis. Looks very promising. Dvc I believe and they are sub ohm at .5 ohms with adjustable airflow so you be able to get good flow and flavor from a tank you don't need to build. I'm considering getting one just to check it out and see if it stacks anywhere close to the 25+ rdas and rbas I own lol
