OK I have an AVS for my aluminum GGTS but now that I have a SS GGTS I think I want to try one of these SS tanks floating around.

Been looking at the SS DCT and the SS Liquinator.

Does anyone know of a way to keep the air control feature of the GGTS and use one of these tanks?

Anyone have experience with both to give me pros and cons of either tank?

I really want to keep the airflow control and I do not wanna pay double for a UFS/iAtty or wait till they return to the shelves of COV.

I'm using a DCT with a 510 and shorty 510 adapter together to get the connection right at the top of the collector tank. If I push the DCT down tight to the top of the collector tank, the air control works. I have noticed that if I set the air control too tight, you can draw juice up through the carto like a straw. I really don't think that carto tanks like the DCT work well when you restrict the airflow....just my opinion....but it does work.

Point taken I had not thought of that. I guess secreasing the pressure inside the tankcould very well cause a air-tube to flood.

Hopefully this is not coming too late but I ran into the same problem and since you have an AVS then you have the correct grommet. I have a 510-801 adapter going into an 801-510 adapter (dont ask, just found what worked) using an 801 air control cover on the collector tank. I then took the grommet from the mouthpiece of my AFSv3 and put it on the larger adapter and just push it down to the air control cap, tightened down the air control valve and it hits just about perfect.

Like fright said, I use a 510-901 and 901-510 adapters. I have to use an oring on top of the adapters otherwise the 4 vents in the top adapter allow air in and it mostly bypasses the draw control. I have been using an oring from the base of an old clearo. Its clear and squashes easy so its not even visible and does not increase the height.

I use my J-tank with a rethreader and a 901-510 adapter without the top cap on the GGTS and the air control works perfectly just like how I set it up with my iAtty.

This is how Imeo said to do the iAtty, and it works great. iAtty tightens right down on the top making a good seal. Only issue I've found is to be careful when screwing everything together, if the rethreader or adapter cross at all it'll get stuck (grippy gloves or pliers will loosen it again) and then you'll have a gap letting air in.
