Tank or Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer (which is more cost effective?)

So, I'm in the process of restocking on my cartomizers and was wondering whether I should switch to a tank system or stick with the Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers. I'm very happy with the Mega Cartos but the convenience of tank systems seems so tempting to try.

Money is an issue so I don't want to increase my current vaping spend by switching to tank systems. Which of the two is more cost effective?

The mega cartos can theoretically hold 5ml (practically more like 3.5ml) so they pretty much are the same as a tank setup except for not having an option to go standard res. I also read awful stories on how leaky tanks can be which is a little discouraging.

side question: where can I get mega cartos in box bundles?

Well i can say the one benefit of a tank is you can just buy replacement cartos. Usually you can find a pack of 5 boge cartos for like $8 depending on the vendor. Which is cheaper than buying 5 of the mega cartos from say madvapes. So in the long run saving some money.

**the up front cost will be a little high purchasing the tank, but if you take care of it, it will end up being cheaper. Also the tank will fit more universal on any mod in case you choose to purchase something else. The mega cartos take a little more work, i.e. adaptors and such to work with other mods than an ego.

The tank in the long run would be best. I had a 3.5 ml tank that my smoketek cartos slide into the center of with black end caps that worked great no leaks, they also make a 6 ml version too.

Ya tank definitely. Have a 6ml tank and love it. Got the smoktek tank for like 10 bucks I think. Gonna get a cartomator but wanted to make sure I liked the tanks first.

As much as I luv the eMDCCs for their simplicity and vape, I say go tank.

I consider the eMDCCs a great fuss-free way to determine if someone is gonna take to vaping. But once the 'bakky is tossed, go to tanks and/or clearos!

I use tanks + boge XL cartos. Phiniac tanks or custom hand blown ones. I get my boge XL LR cartos from surevapes. 5.50$ per pack with free shipping or from electronicstix for 8.00 per pack.

The tanks keep the carto wet, thus extending the life cycle of it. I get about two weeks per carto in a tank.

I found a site selling what seem to be well made but fairly inexpensive tanks and will test and prepunch their boge cartos before shipping for only a dollar per 5 pack. I think if money is an issue this is the right site for you.

Im ordering the 5ml poly propolene tank as it wont degrade with acidic exposure unlike the polycarbonate tanks.
