I have an ongoing problem, maybe I'm dumb and just don't see it but here it is. Every time I fill my tank and slide the top cap back down I flood the carto I see a way to prevent this but its not what I have now a tank with a fill plug would do it. Is there anyway that is done that wont flood my cartos and I've tried closing it very slowly still floods. Need some help.

The reason the carto becomes flooded from the method you use is because no matter how carefully you try to replace the top cap, the sudden increase of air/fluid pressure within the tank forces too much liquid into the carto. This technique is faulty.

Only fill or refill a cartotank with both caps on. Depending upon the carto you are using (flange or un-flanged), push the carto half way out of the tank (with the Slap Yo Moma tank tool or the slender drip tip suggestion if you're cheap) and fill the tank through the opening of the end cap. Insert the carto into proper position. Vape.

This tool looks great IF you are using flanged cartos.

If the cartos you use do not have a flange, you are just going to pull the carto up and out the top and spill.

I suppose that if after filling, and before you pull out the tool, you screw the carto/tank onto your battery, you could avoid that.

But 12 bucks for the tool? Really? Thats more expensive than many tanks!

The tool works fine with flanged or unflanged cartos. One just needs to be careful...I can hold the bottom of the carto and pull the tool out easily. As for the price of the tool...that's just one example. There are delrin versions that are much cheaper as pointed out above.

One can also simply pull the carto down and fill the tank by tilting (being careful of course not to get too much in the carto. You can't fill your tank to the top but you can get pretty close.

Someone gave me the Slap Yo Mama tool as a gift....but since back then (a year ago) I've ended up using the "refilling drip tips" found on many sites. They are cheap and work just as well. http://www.smokerevolt.com/510-Long-Refilling-Drip-Tips_p_412.html Still have the SYM, but usually carry around the "refilling drip tip" as I don't worry so much about losing them as I would the SYM. They work perfectly well. I have both black and silver.

Yes. Be more careful and mindful.

Something I have started doing is refilling my carto at night before I go to bed, not trying to do it in the morning without sufficient coffee!
