I have a small and large "TubeTank".
The small one works great with 3.0 ohm DC carto, but the big one always ends up flooding or the vapor drops off. I'm looking for a higher quality tank and I' m kind of shying away from the bigger ones . Should I take the plunge into rebuildables ? Is there that much difference? Mostly now I am using a dual 18650 VV mod , I like high voltage (6-7) and want something that will be powerful and durable. Any feedback would be awesome. And if anyone cares , I haven't had a cigar in over 10 weeks!
Thanks J

Congratulations on 10 weeks "cigar free"! As for the tanks...there could be a few factors involved. The size of the thank should not effect the vape really, unless there is something wrong. Have you checked the O rings? When you first got it, did it work okay? Could be the O rings are warped or damaged somehow (maybe by the type juice you use?) and either need to be cleaned and reinstalled, or replaced. If it's just a cleaning, I just take the caps off..O rings and all...and soak them a bit in vinegar then rinse them in really hot water. Wipe dry then let air dry awhile. I had a 3ml. tank that seemed to give me fits and it turns out that it just needed a good cleaning of the caps and O rings. Worth a shot.

As for the vapor dropping off..that sounds more like an issue with the cartomizer or maybe the battery. The tank it'self really doesn't have much to do with anything except hold the juice.

Personally, I find the "DCT tank" a very nice system that is easy to maintain and deal with. Changing out a bad O ring or two isn't a big deal. they are super inexpensive. I'm not into fiddling and fussing over my vaping equipment any more than I already do! ha!
