So, by now we know that the hard plastic tank cartridge tips work well for a refill or two, then start leaking, hence the soft replacement tank cartridge caps for sale on lots of sites. I ordered these caps along with my ego tank kits and quickly realized I wasn't getting the vape I was counting on...dry hits and a plastic taste, not good, not good at all.
What I started doing was cutting the inside down with small scissors so the caps are almost flush with the flaps the grip around the tops of the tank cartridge...and it works. Depending on the brand, the spike can vary in sizes and with the way the inside of these caps are made, the rubber may be too high and won't allow for good wicking, but when you cut them down shorter, you have a better chance of getting juice where you need it and I haven't had any leakage. None. Try it out. Lemme know if it works for you too.
