Hi guys,
I've ditched the tanks that came with my starter kit (some cheap Vivi clones!!! They leaked like hell!!)
I've now got 2 protank 2s and a nautilus. Vape is like night and day!!!
Quick question/advice though. As my new tanks are bottom coils, how should I be storing them at night?
Right now I leave them on the batteries and let them stand upright in a pen holder on my table, if they're not connected to my batteries they're sitting on my shelf upright (shelf has convenient slats that the bottoms sit through)

Should be storing these tanks upside down to avoid damage/flooding? Or am I just being overly paranoid/stupid?

I use the Davides, essentially the same as the PTs. A day or two upright seems to be okay but any longer and they start to dribble. I remove the drip tip and leave them upside down if I'm not getting back to them within 24 hours. It's a PITA, but that's vaping. :)

Oh, and if you're going someplace with a big elevation gain/loss, upside down is the way to go too because of the air pressure change.

That's exactly how I left mine at night: upside down in a big jar so there's NO CHANCE of flooding. plus if the coil is a little too wet, the extra drains out through the drip tip overnight;

I looked around for desk stands and thought the price was silly. My storage boxes (Home Depot) have little sections that are pretty deep (3.75") and so I store the topper and its juice bottle in them. The topper can stand up. But my desk doesn't have space for those boxes so I went back to Home Depot for a 1" x 2" piece of wood. I just drilled some 3/8" holes about a 1/4" deep. Works great for immediate-use tanks.

Hope helps

An empty gallon bottle like from a bottle of bleach, or vinegar, or cooking oil; you cut the top off with a utility knife and that's your basic storage container; then you get a couple smaller bottles that will fit inside and cut the tops off those, and stick those in and you got two sections inside the main jar.

crude but practical.
