Hey guys I've been using the 510 with BOGE cartos for a while and am curious as to what people think about the tank style attys. The concept sounds pretty great and I'm wondering if it is as good in practice as it is in concept.

Also thinking of graduating to the eGo, or maybe just a 510 passthru seeing as I vape mostly by my computer.

Thanks in advance for your veteran opinions :)

BOGE 510 Cartos (I'm taken to the 2.0 ohm range myself) have a phenomenal track record. I've given the tank system a 3 month go, and found some issues which in the end I was unable to overcome. I experienced issues with the eGo/Tornado-T attys leaking a high quantity of juice from the tank cart, down thru the atty, and right down to the battery causing juice to just leak out from all sides which became very messy.

The Tank System is a novel idea, but I would definitely stick with cartos for now as it appears this revolutionary new concept has a few kinks to be worked out....IMHO.

For me, dripping WAS the only way to get the pure flavor that I wanted on the 510 - until I tried the tank. No leaking or wicking issues for me even for liquids heavy on the VG. It's a no fuss, no muss way to get the best flavor from a 510 IMHO. The cartridges were okay, but it was a pain to know when they needed more juice, and eventually they get funky tasting. A tank can just be rinsed out and refilled. I may never go back to dripping.

I use tanks (like map tanks, but my husband makes them), CE2 tanks if you will.
I just tried cartomizers last month. They taste nasty after about 5 hits. If you clean & attempt to refill they taste nasty. IMHO, the stuff inside is just grounds to breed bacteria.

Yes, I know that PG has anti-microbial properties, but what if you are vaping 90-100%VG?
Tanks are far superior to cartomizers. Yes i've tried the G4 or 6 or whatever they are calling it this month. I tried them about 2 months ago when Got Vapes first introduced them as the Vortex. My first one cracked. My 2nd one needed too much tweaking to get right, then again, there is a little bit of "fluff" that is between the atty connector & tube that can get nasty & breed bacteria.

I've only tried the CE2 rev 4 cartos and wasn't impressed. I couldn't get past the plastic taste that reminded me of a brand new air mattress. I like the tank, but found that you have to refill it when it is down to the 1/4 full mark or you start to get flooding, not every time, but enough to be aggravating.

I have 3 boxes of Boge cartos coming from Liberty-Flights soon. We'll see how they work.
