So I vape quite a bit, and I like tanks. Makes things a bit easier especially when im driving. I recently bought a k100 and am waiting on it to arrive in the mail. I got a drip atomizer with it but still want a tank. So im looking for some suggestions on rebuildable tanks. I like nice vapor clouds with lots of flavor. And im trying to avoid the plastic tanks. A few of the flavors I like cant go in them. Hope to get a few answers with what you like about your tank and about how much u paid for it. Thanks

By ce I guess u mean the plastic tank that came with my ego s. They called it a saturn tank at vapure. Theyre not bad, I had a kanger ,mt3?, bottom feeder. I liked it, but it burnt the juices, If carto u mean the metal tube with fiber inside and some holes in the metal, dont like those, well at least for dripping, thought it was supposed to go in a tank, but they pull hard and dont taste great, to me. The genesis looks nice, my friend hax a tank with ss mesh, ill have to check if its a genesis type, he said his main problem is that you cant lay it sideways.

Ive heard a fewpeople talking good about the kanger pro tank, that was one I was going to check out, what do you like about it, above other tanks?

Ok Green now we can help a little. So the ce style is in reference to those like the mt3/eVod/protank..... those are calles ce style because the originals where ceramic cups that helt the coil/wick assembly.... If you want something that is like the my3 but with a glass/metal tank then the Protank is your go-to. The coils are replaceable(or repairable if you have a bit of practice) the tank is glass/metal so all those no-no liquids can be used in them without fear of damaging the tank.

Your friend has what sounds like a genesis type tank(by the ss mesh statement) and Yes they are nice, but I don't think this is a great place to begin if you don't already have a reliable setup. And yes you cant lay them down or carry them in your pocket because they work best without the filler screw...... and do leak if tipped too far for too long.

If carto tanks are not to your liking then you are basically looking at the Protank, at minimum to get you going until you can get your genesis building skills up to a level that you can switch over to them for daily use. You could also get yourself a rebuildable drip atomizer to get used to making coils and get a little bit of useable experience.

Its a good chance it was a smoktech one. Got it from tje vape vapeshop came in a clear plastic with no markings and was like 3 bucks or so. Its just a plain metal tube. The draw on it is really hard, the taste is hit or miss, i was using itas a dripper, but it still had a really fabric-y taste. Ill put it on the list to look in to tho.

Hey Green, The cartomizers we are talking about are the ones that hold 1-1.5 ml of liquid. This type gets holes punched in the side wall and inserted in a tank tube to be replenished by the liquid in the tube. They are a good vape if setup properly but there is a slight learning curve to punching the holes. And yes they do have a little stiffer draw but some folks like a stiffer draw. something like this> http://i1.wp.com/www.stevevape.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/IMG_26703.jpg?zoom=1.5&resize=400,300 there ae tons of versions available with glass tanks that would be just fine with those known issue liquids you like.....

Yup, that's supposed to go into a tank kit, and it holds 1.2-1.5ml of liquid(25-35drops)from empty to full, so if you where using it as a dripper its probable that you where not using it correctly and got far less than desirable results. Some cartos have a stiffer draw, some are less stiff. That type carto only works correctly when in a tank being constantly refilled by the liquid in the tank. The holes on the sides would divert the flow of clean air incorrectly and not through the coil like it should. Tanks for those cartos are pretty cheap and I think you should try one in a tank like it should be before you skip right over them for something else..... just my 2 pennies.

Yeah when the chick gave it to me I was kinda like hmmm. She said 8 to 10 drops to prime then 2 to 3 drops after. Did that and it was vaping ok, went through usi g less liquid and more liquid still about the same. Except with to much it, it acted like a flooded ce type tank, with the gurgling, spitting, and no vapor. I was looking at reviews of the boge f16 and kanger protank, both look nice, I kinda liked the bottom feed kanger I had bug like I said it would burn up juices. Might look into trying to find a cheap place to pick up a boge and cheap tank to try it out

The f16 is a nice tank, I actually prefer the AGR tank because you cant pull it apart.... I got mine from here AGR Carto Tank and it comes with both the long and short tanks, all you would need is a standard(or Xl) boge carto and a punch, all can be had at that site, for under $30. And you would have spare cartos to experiment with too... Good luck. Gonna call it a night.
