Tank system great but....

The newer design, the tank system, which holds the ejuice liquid in the ecig tip and directly contacts the atomizer, instead of the older design where the vapor passes thru a spongy filter, is a great idea.

It tastes better, has great hit and vape. HOWEVER, as you use it, and the ejuice is used and the tip is only half full, it begins to leak. The juice gets into the air channels and then into your mouth (not that it tastes bad). I don't think there is a remedy for this.

HOWEVER, the other half of the problem is the tip resists being refilled. Due to liquid in the air channels or something else, the juice spills all over the tip and my fingers, particularly since the ejuice bottles don't fit the ecig tips. THAT part is ridiculous and every company should provide complimentary needle caps.

Anyone else have this problem and what do you do about it?

The tank system are a great way to start out on your vaping journey but yes, they are very fidgety and can be quite annoying when they leak. There is a section in the forum somewhere here all about issues with the tanks. I started on an Tornado-T (eGo-T) about 2 months ago and was fed up with wet fingers and swallowing juice. The channels on the side you are referring to are actually overflow chambers for juice, which tells me your atty is getting too much juice. Perhaps the hole at the drip end of your cartridge is too big? I found replacing the hard plastic caps with soft silicone caps seals and delivers juice better. As for filling the cartridge are you removing the little end cap to fill your juice?

I know a lot of people have leaking issues with the Ego style tanks. For me I have the opposite problem, I never have been able to get the tanks to wick worth a crap. I dabbled with them a bit, but honestly I don't see myself ever using the Ego tanks over cartomizers and carto tanks.

As far as the filling, my advice would be to try using a short blunt-tipped needle to fill them. That should take care of the spilling issues, and as a bonus would allow you to refill the tank through the atomizer hole, without having to remove the plastic cap.
