I recently got two polypro v tanks from valley view vapes.
Loaded the carto with juice, filled the tank with juice.
It tasted amazing. Now it tastes muted and dry.
i opened the drip tip and the carto fill is white and there is no juice in there.

i thought the hole punch in the carto would keep it wet? Am I wrong and have to drip constantly?

Hi! I ran into a similar problem with a carto tonight. I just couldn't get it to stay wet. I usually drip into my cartos periodically even when they are in tanks, but this one seems to have issues. I'm not sure if it's the juice (60vg/40pg, rather than the 30vg/70pg ratio I usually use) or if the holes are too small/blocked/idk. I finally took a syringe and filled it down the sides. It seems to be working alright, but I'm watching it.

Overnight it can drain I guess. I give my carto a little drnk in the morning after it's sat all night. Also...while the hole(s) help, remember to prime from time to time especially with the 6ml tanks. Sometimes I find it's good to drop a bit more juice on the batting after a few hours vaping , too. I chain vape pretty hard and heavy. But it's easy and fast top off a bit, and so worth doing to prevent scorching, and thus ruining, a carto.

I have one of Ray's 5ml tanks, that I use with the single coil LR35mm Boge he sells (2 holes, punched & tested). The holes he makes are bigger than the pre-punched Smoktech ones I get for a different tank, but sometimes you get a bad one. I've bought several from him, but I used one last week that fried after about 10 hours.

ETA: The one that was giving me a problem tonight is a Smoktech single coil 2.0 ohm with 2 holes.

Do some dry puffs ever so often (don't push the button). Else take the tank of your PV and put your thumb over the bottom of the carto and do several dry puffs. You should be seeing bubbles coming from the punched hole ever so often. If that is not happening, try the dry puffs methods to see if you can get it started working.

Also, if you fill a tank too full it won't wick as well, either. It needs that air space for pressure.
