New to this forum, but have already learned a bunch about the vape world. I started vaping 6 months ago and have quickly accelerated into the vape culture. I started with Blus, then ego t's, to ego twists and recently settled comfortably with a PROVARI. I have no cartomizer experiace besides Blus and have struggled with clearomizers working well, but am finally satisfied with Kanger T3's on my Twists. In fact I will definitely try a Kanger Protank once they are available without $18 shipping. So what I would like help with is selecting a quality tank for my PROVARI. I have some Vivi Novas, but I want a bottom coil atomizer or a cartomizer tank. I think the Novas are muting the taste (Heathers Heavenly Vapes) and their vapor production becomes lame. I have no experience with carto tanks. Are they worth trying? What are some top quality brands to look at? I don't mind spending money on a tank that will last the test of time. What are the top quality bottom coil atty tanks? Thanks so much for any replies.

P.s. Even a website with a large selection of top rated tanks would be great too. Thx.

I also have a Provari and I love carto tanks. I have various DCT tanks from Smok but wanted to step up to glass/pyrex/quartz so i didn't have to worry about cracking. I just got a tank from Valley Vapes and I really like it, even though it took a while to get it. I am about to order a tank from IBTanked because I have read some really good things about them on here- I just can't decide on size and color.

Valley vapes pyrex on the left. Ibtanked on the right. Both are fantastic vendors who take care of their customers very well imo.

Vaperfexion tanks are pricey and i broke my pyrex with no effort. Polycarbonate tanks are ok but not for those specific flavors known as tank killers.

Phiniac on the left and valley vapes on the right.
I'd say valley vapes are more affordable but at the moment they are closed so that's no help to people who want them.
I only use tanks and personally love them.

How long do cartos last? How many should I buy off the bat? Can I change juice with the same carto? Also best quality carto brands? I will spend whatever on quality carto brands to avoid leaking or flooding. Thanks again for the great replies. Really helping.

Depends on your luck:)
Couple days to weeks and weeks. I've had the same carto for months. At the same time I've tossed cartos within 2 days of first fill.
I only use boge and i stick with what works for me. Everyone has different likes and needs though so wait for more answers.
Surevapes has cartos cheap cheap in a carton deal, or even half carton.
I like to have 15 on hand of each LR and Sr but i also have over 20 tanks and need at least one for each tank. I'm a hoarder though sooo

I have one of the 19mm IBtanked tanks and I'm more than happy with it. It's never leaked, easy to take apart and clean, and with the tank filling tool they sell I can refill it quick and easy.

I also have a tank from High Desert Vapes ,and another on the way. If you want more then just a plain glass tube check them out. They have some beautiful tanks but they do cost more.

You will need to change carto's and clean the tank when changing flavors. Boge carto's have been working pretty good for me in tanks. I liked smoktech carto's but they seemed to flood too much for me, except with boba's bounty.

I have seven of the IBTanks and three of the Valley View Vapes TripleV pyrex tanks. I also have a Phiniac tube morphed with the endcaps of a Hoosier Vapes Elegance tank. And a High Desert Vapes cartotank tank. You can see them in my photo gallery in the link below in my sig.

I have some useful information about cartomizers and cartotanks in my blog articles, which you can access in the link below my avatar.

if a carto lasts me a full 10 ml bottle of juice i am happy. i plan to change cartos every bottle of juice. since i use a tank set up and they are cheap enough.a couple of doa's are not the end of the world. too much at stake here for a 3 dollar item.

What is on the tank of the mini? And where do I get one? That looks crazy! Does it just go over the tank?
